Yeah right. He’s an embarrassment and would cause nothing but controversy if he turned up. Covid is the excuse to end all excuses. It’ll never be allowed to die.

Fallsballs · 02/06/2022 17:41

He’d look perfect surrounded by ladyboys in his speedos.

Highfivemum · 02/06/2022 17:55

its for the best as no one wanted to see him there. He has disrespected the Royal family badly and brought shame upon his family. Then again so has Harry and Megan.

custardbear · 02/06/2022 16:03

I'm surprised covid would get anywhere near him ... even viruses have standards

😂😂😂😂

Fallsballs · 02/06/2022 17:59

I don’t think equating a paedo with H & M is fair.

Wasn’t equally them was just saying they had disrespected the Rotal family too

It wouldn’t be but he’s never been accused of paedophilia. MN appears unable to understand the definition.

Don’t let the Harry and Meghan haters derail the thread. Andrew is the one we should all have an issue with. I see someone is reporting anything vaguely anti Andrew. The usual ones I suppose.

Hopefully the song about the sweaty nonce does well.

They still support him as far as I know. I don’t feel sorry for anyone that stands by men like that.

Apparently one of them is going off to live in Portugal on a golf course. Maybe she could take her daddy, after all he is persona non grata at most decent UK golf courses. Of course Portugal can get hot, tricky if you can’t sweat to cool down….

I never give any headspace to "Randy Andy"
I just feel sorry for Beatrice and Eugenie who have done nothing to deserve a father like him

I save my sympathy for the women and girls he assaulted.

j712adrian · 02/06/2022 18:13

He's apparently staying at home looking after the kids.

Crazylazydayz · 02/06/2022 18:15

Hang on a minute, what evidence is there that Prince Andrew knew Virginia Giuffre was being trafficked at the time he had sex with her. There is no question she was trafficked, but who knew she was at the time?

My understanding is PA had sex with her when she was 17, awful yes but not illegal in this country and many men have done the same. It is likely he was delusional about how attractive he was to her, but I have never read anything that suggested at the time a) he knew her real age and b) he knew she was trafficked c) he paid her for sex d) he knew Jeffrey Epstein paid her to have sex. Happy to be corrected.

If, when the allegations first surfaced, he had admitted it and apologised there would have been no court case. It was trying to lie his way out of it that led to the settlement.

I am not defending PA, but the allegations he is a nonce, coerced/trafficked VG etc. need some evidence.

BreadInCaptivity · 02/06/2022 18:17

Don't care if it's a lie or not - just glad the bugger is in exile.

Frankly it's probably better if it's an excuse because it demonstrates an understanding of just how toxic he is and that there is no way back for him.

Dizza25 · 02/06/2022 18:20

hmm, very convenient, recent reporting said he was visiting the queen daily to make amends, if it’s true hope she doesn’t come down with it!

PatchworkElmer · 02/06/2022 18:22

Very convenient isn’t it. I’m glad they’ve read the public mood and decided to keep him away- just a shame that he’s been able to save face like this.

Ladywiddio · 02/06/2022 18:23

Covid cases have shot up this week where I live.Loads of it about.Andrew lies so much, nobody will believe he has it.

pennee · 02/06/2022 18:24

I wouldn't be surprised if more of the Royals don't test positive over the weekend. In the carriage, William and Kate's middle child was really coughing at one point 🤒

toomuchlaundry · 02/06/2022 18:29

I did think how convenient, but I guess unlike most people now, they will be regularly testing especially if going anywhere near the Queen, so more likely to know whether they have COVID

Waffledoggysmother · 02/06/2022 18:37

It’s absolute bollocks isn’t it. Shame Meghan didn’t have covid. She just had to get herself in the window to be photographed.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 02/06/2022 18:38

He wasn't invited for the balcony event anyway

Yes, but it seems to be Sunday's Service of Thanksgiving he's being "excused" from now - as if anyone will believe this "news"

Perhaps others didn't want him pushing himself forward in escorting the Queen again?
