What fits the bill for this holiday please?

Looking to go abroad with the following criteria!

Fly out Friday morning and come back Sunday evening so just a weekend

Must be nice and sunny and hot, not too far on the plane and the resort be very close to the airport so no 3 hour transfers

Must have a great pool and food. Just want to get there, lie by the pool for a couple of days and then hop back on the plane

Can you think of anything they might fit the bill? Thanks

I'm afraid you'll need to do a bit of research yourself OP. Nobody knows where you live/fly from.

I suggest starting with Skyscanner and putting in your departure date/airport and clicking "explore", it should bring up possible options for flights on those days and that'll give you a starting point.

Southern med, Turkey all have resorts that will be sunny and warm.

Check out resorts close to the airport and flight times from your local airport.

If you're happy with a pool not even beach then you will have loads of options.

Somewhere in the south of France. Lots of spots not too far from Toulon airport that will be very hot in summer

Portugal

Italy or Malaga

Alicante

bordeaux

Benidorm

It depends where you are flying from!

Seeing as you don't care where your going and what's there, get as cheap a flight as you can to one of the Costas. So lazy, you clearly have an internet connection and a search engine, use them.

The crucial factor will be what flights go from your most convenient airport(s) on Friday morning and return on Sunday afternoon/evening. Without that, no-one can answer as the right answer for someone in SE England isn't the same as someone who would want to go from Edinburgh etc.

You might need a variety of search tools to find the answer you're looking for, but I'd be thinking about somewhere in the Med, not too far away that is popular with Brits so there's plenty of flights. Somewhere like Mainland Spain, Balerics or Malta for example.

Also when you're thinking of going - you're pretty much guaranteed hot weather in the Med in the summer, but not in November for example, then you'd probably want Canaries/Red Sea at least.

Could you call a travel agent? They can organise you the holiday.

I don't think it's lazy, OP is just asking what fits the bill. Someone here might do it all the time and say x or y hotel, avoid f and h.

You could fly into Verona and stay in a hotel around the southern end of lake Garda. It's around 30 minutes by car. Have a look at Parc hotel Peschiera Del Darda.
