Do you ever accept your supermarket delivery in your pjs?

I had a shower about an hour ago and got in my pjs. Then remembered I have a Tesco delivery booked between 8 and 9 so got dressed again!
Now I'm wondering if that was necessary and whether people regularly get their shopping delivery in their pjs? That's it really interested to know if you want to share... 🙂

I'd have no problem getting it in my PJs, can't remember if I ever have but my usual daywear around the house is pretty slobbish anyway if I'm honest. I'm sure the delivery drivers have seen it all!

CuriousCatfish · 15/05/2022 20:31

Yes I would. I'm sure the delivery drivers wouldn't care.

RollerGirl7 · 15/05/2022 20:32

Depends. Disney nightie or matching flannel pjd prob not but plain t-shirt and leggings/pj trousers then no prob

IglesiasPiggl · 15/05/2022 20:33

Mine comes at 6am and I am always in my pj's!

2tired2bewitty · 15/05/2022 20:34

Yup, though I tend to put a jumper on over the top rather than my dressing gown as that just gets in the way.

fruitpastille · 15/05/2022 20:34

Yes but with a hoodie over them. Usually have fat face bottoms which are quite substantial.

MalbecandToast · 15/05/2022 20:36

I do every Sunday morning! 🤣

blackteaplease · 15/05/2022 20:36

All the time complete with dressing gown. The drivers don't bat an eyelid

Mrstumbletap · 15/05/2022 20:38

Yep delivery to my house, pjs and dressing gown no worries at all.
Wouldnt go out to a supermarket wearing that though.

MadMadMadamMim · 15/05/2022 20:38

It's the bra-less bit that concerns me...no stranger needs to see me in pjs with no bra on. It's not a pretty sight.

Karwomannghia · 15/05/2022 20:39

Yes did so this morning! Ds was mainly up front carrying in the boxes though!

ParkheadParadise · 15/05/2022 20:40

Aye, all the time.
I also put the bins out and hang my washing out in my jammies.

Bickles · 15/05/2022 20:41

Every week🤦‍♀️

BeyondMyWits · 15/05/2022 20:42

I once answered the door to Tesco delivery man with my left boob on full display (had been feeding Dd and neglected to pop it back.)

HE SAID NOTHING...

So I think pj's would be just fine!😂

TheTurn0fTheScrew · 15/05/2022 20:44

PJ bottoms and a hoodie here.

Punkypinky · 15/05/2022 20:45

ah ok I like how this is going. In future I shall just stay in the pjs. They're a t shirt and plaid bottoms so not very offensive. Thanks everyone. I'm sure the lovely delivery drivers have seen all sorts and really wouldn't care as you say.

Hahahahahahahha
it genuinely wouldn’t even cross my mind.
maybe if I had my flange out it would be an issue

I take in lots of deliveries and still in my pj’s.

I have supportive crop top bras I got from Matalan. They are amazingly supportive and I have big boobs. I hate excessive under boob sweat from releasing them.

nilpois · 15/05/2022 20:47

Every time! Will put a bra on underneath to save the poor delivery person from the sight of me without one....but that's it.

Anonnnnnnm · 15/05/2022 20:47

All the time. They've seen it all 😂

Yep, agree with this! PJ's yes, dressing gown, no.

SarahAndQuack · 15/05/2022 21:23

Of course - wouldn't occur to me not to, why? My PJs aren't indecent at all - long trousers with a little vest top, it's not like more of me is visible than in my day clothes. If I were wearing a tiny see-through negligee I'd be different, I admit.

bagelsandcheese · 15/05/2022 21:27

Yes of corse. I live in pjs when I'm at home.

Mossstitch · 15/05/2022 21:28

All the time, although he probably wouldn't notice as I always wear big baggy men's t-hsirts to disguise the fact that I can't stand to wear a bra inside my home, plus leggings or plaid PJ bottoms.
