They are playing in hard mode where you have to use the revealed hints( letters) in the subsequent guesses. So no elimination guesses. You select it in the settings if you want to try.

That was a head scratcher at 7am. I used line 3 as an elimation line, using a letter i already knew wasn't in it, but trying to find places for the ones I had.

I considered the actual word for line 3 but discounted it as I wasn't sure it was even a word.

A luck rather than skill day today.
