If you are married or have been together a long time and had the choice to live apart but continue the relationship , finances all good etc would you?

Its unusual I agree. I'm just curious if anyone else has considered it.

No, I love being around him though I do dispair at his mess. I quite like the occasional night in the guest room though!

It took me a long time to get used to being on my own post-divorce but now I love it. I spend weekends at my DPs and love getting home on a Sunday evening, putting shit on the telly and having a glass of wine and a fag on the sofa. I need my down time.

SouperNoodle · 05/05/2022 23:54

Not at all. I enjoy DH's company and genuinely love being around him.
I also physically can't sleep on rare occasions when we have to spend the night apart.

ChazzaGirl · 05/05/2022 23:58

Definitely not. He takes up too much room in the bed, he elbows me in the head countless times during the night, and he snores, but I love the fact that when I wake up in the middle of the night he’s there beside me.

Although the odd night in the bed on my own is an absolute treat though 😀

Yes. It would be my dream situation.

Just thought of a huge benefit to this. When MIL stays it wouldn't be in my house!
