Nope. 4 days off...

I suppose it will be a box set, wine, chocolate, recliner... so I guess that's a plan...

Maytodecember · 03/05/2022 15:43

No. Have zero interest in wealthy, entitled but rather pointless family.

Noname1999 · 03/05/2022 15:43

DIY & gardening

mrsjg · 03/05/2022 15:47

No, just enjoying the time off. Hopefully the weather will be good so I can laze about in the garden.

nearlyspringyay · 03/05/2022 16:34

Friends are having a pool party on the Saturday, none of us are or rioting it's just an excuse. Garden and bbq the rest of the weekend hopefully.

DockOTheBay · 03/05/2022 16:36

We are on holiday Wednesday to Wednesday the week before so I imagine at least one day of the bank holiday will be sorting/resting/washing after holiday.

We will probably do some day trips to the beach, country parks etc.

Not doing anything specifically for the jubilee, its not really that interesting to me.

Abraxan · 03/05/2022 16:38

We are having a whole school yea party to celebrate.

But for the week of the extra bank holiday we are away in New York, so won't be doing anything Jubilee-linked tbh.

Daisylo0 · 03/05/2022 16:41

Yes, going away for a European city break.

DressingPafe · 03/05/2022 17:14

I'm going to visit my sister on the coast (I live in London). Planning to travel on the Wednesday rather than the Thursday though in hopes it's not too busy. It's rare to get a 4 day holiday where neither of us already has plans so it will be nice to make the most of it. I doubt we will do anything Jubilee related though.

TheFormidableMrsC · 03/05/2022 17:18

Yes, we're having a street party with neighbours! Really looking forward to it and we're praying for good weather 🤞

Justmuddlingalong · 03/05/2022 17:19

Yes. Avoiding the telly at all costs.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 03/05/2022 17:24

Friday cooking for a cake sale to raise money for a charity. Monday a full on tea party complete with tiaras 😂

BlueOverYellow · 03/05/2022 17:25

The 'holiday' is part of the schools' half term week, so we'll do what we normally do. Certainly won't be celebrating a family that gets lots of taxpayer monies for nothing.

emmetgirl · 03/05/2022 18:47

Absobloodylutely not. Zero interest. Get rid of them.

Pyewhacket · 03/05/2022 18:50

Street party, weather allowing.

Its pretty annoying that its part of half term isn't it. Teachers and school kids don't get an extra bank holiday then and a lot of parents would like an extra day off with their kids.

Libertaire · 03/05/2022 18:53

Working, fortunately. If I couldn’t work I would probably leave the country that weekend. Anything to get away from all the jubilee crap.

Izzibella84 · 03/05/2022 18:54

Get up, go to work, make dinner, shower, sleep and repeat.

speakout · 03/05/2022 18:55

No- but I live in Scotland.

museumum · 03/05/2022 18:56

Going away camping with friends. Same as we did for the royal wedding. Long weekend. No tv. Bliss.

This..

ABrightSilverLining · 03/05/2022 19:04

Yes we're having a street party with the neighbours.

Libertybear80 · 03/05/2022 19:05

You mean to celebrate something? I don't even know what it is we have a day off for? So I guess...no!

BarrowInFurnessRailwayStation · 03/05/2022 19:06

Absolutely not. I hope they do away with such a ridiculous thing.

Getyourarseofffthequattro · 03/05/2022 19:07

We are getting married Grin
