Anyone up to much? Schools go back on Monday here but DD13 has been school refusing & only attended a handful of days since January. We’re trying to get her into her first choice school.
I’m on the internet instead of sorting the kitchen & cleaning the bathroom. It’s clouded over so will probably bring the washing in. I feel kind of hungry & a bit poorly at the same time. Tempted to have sweet potato & chilli soup for lunch. DH is making sausage pasta for tea as he’s finishing work a bit earlier. Might catch up with MAFS Australia.

Anyone?

I have 2 girls very impatiently waiting for Granda to collect them to go to soft-play and a sleepover. I have tidied a few drawers and have the towels on the line. THEN I have the house to myself in I don't know how long as DH had to go into the office for the first time in probably a year! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I’m working from home today - we’ll, mainly mumsnetting but I’m up to date so it’s fine.

Going to have a clean up, can’t decide what to have for lunch.

Son has boxing class later so I’ll make a curry before we go so it’s ready for when we get back. It’s from my first HelloFresh box so I’m interested to see what it’s like!

Dh is at work, dd2 is at school (we border a different county and she’s back already).
I’ve just had my food shop delivered so cleared out the fridge and unpacked my shopping, now sitting on my bed watching father of the bride and sorting through my clothes.
dd1 is in bed, she was back from work late last night.
ds is playing with his Lego.
Think I’ll see if he fancies a swim in a bit.
Mexican for dinner tonight, quesadillas, tacos and all sorts of good stuff. Dh is in charge, I just turn up for the eating part 😁

@Playhousearmy enjoy the house to yourself! Happened to me for a whole half an hour yesterday for the first time in 2 whole years - it was utterly blissful!!

No idea I'm not in. The cat is the only one home. We had different Easter holidays and dc went back Tuesday. Had my theory test this morning and passed first time . I'm so happy at the moment. Dh cooking stir fry for dinner.

I am drinking a cup of tea after a late lunch. DC are colouring in and watching annoying you tubers shriek about minecraft. I need to clean up and send DC1 upstairs so I can finish wrapping her birthday presents for tomorrow. It’s Friday, so it’s pizza for dinner.

The cat is asleep on the settee. Husband will be home soon, he's been for his 1st Physiotherapy session today so finished work at midday. I've just had some lentil soup and dry toast. Eldest son will be here this evening, with his girls, so that will be fun. I've done the usual boring stuff - washing, hoovering and polishing. That's it.

I've been swimming this morning and have just cleaned the bathroom. Now sitting down with some crochet. (Day off work!)
DS has a friend round and they are happily chatting and playing Lego in the lounge and not requiring much input from me!
DH is working from home in the outside room.
Also pizza for dinner later here!

Not much in our house. Dh is talking to his mum on the phone. Dc are playing with a friend with the clay. They're making a mess but I am trying to let it go. I'm in the garden with a cup of tea and listening to some music. They took some bloods this morning but she had to wiggle around my vein for a bit before any would come out and my arm hurts now!

I have my first non working day since cutting my hours, I have spent it gardening. Now everyone is back in we can plan the weekend and hopefully DH will make soething really nice for tea as I can not be bothered to cook!

Not much, smallest is upstairs playing with his Lego, older two are reading books/magazines in the living room. I’m mumsnetting when I should be tidying up.

I've taken the afternoon off. End of holiday blues combined with a low mood. Am watching Superstore and pottering. DH meeting friends for lunch. DS2 watching tv. DS1 put on his bike. DDog sniffling about for crumbs.

Still at work, finish a bit earlier on Fridays then ill go home, get a takeaway and then chill and watch Netflix if DS allows me and goes to bed on time.

I'm waiting for the bus outside work, will pick my daughter up from nursery and we're going to our allotment for a bit before tea.

It's nearly 10pm here, Friday night.
DH is watching telly (about to shower and go to bed) Our youngest DD is in bed but still awake, she started work at 5am today, hence why she's in bed early for her. Our oldest DD is at a nightclub with her friend. I'm picking them up at midnight and dropping her friend home.
Just put the dishwasher and washing machine on.
It's a fun Friday night here!

The kids are in the garden playing football.
The house is a tip and I need to get off the sofa and tidy it but I'm Mumsnetting instead to avoid it.

DD is at a friend's house, DS is supposed to be revising. We had the plumber out this maintaing morning to sort out a leak in the bathroom and some of the floorboards are still up. I've done a few loads of washing and written some of my uni essays. DH should be cooking curry later. Just pondering whether to cycle to Wilko's to pick up some household bits...

Half day at school on Friday's here. So DS2 is on playstation as usual. DH has just taken DD to dance class. I am supposed to be working but don't have much on, so I'm scrolling the internet wishing I could get outside in the sunshine

DH has bobbed out to get a hair cut, some stuff for the lawn then picking DD1 up from school.
I'm sat on the sofa,, drinking tea and putting off hoovering

I'm ignoring the laundry and the kitchen in favour of sticking music on and playing my bass guitar along with them.

Far better use of my time than anything else I could be doing today!

I finish work at lunchtime on Fridays which is nice. Picked DS up from his grandparents as it's still the holidays here too. We're watching a movie right now and I'm having a🍸thinking about starting dinner soon as we're both starving.

My dc are back to school this week. Im recovering from covid, first day made it out of bed today for 2 weeks. Sense of smell is returning. Dh has just announced he’s getting us a Thai takeout tonight so I’m happy.
dh is wfh but keeps Fridays reasonably clear so has been pottering tidying the garden in between meetings.
dd17 finished college at midday today and has gone off into London to a gig with her friends. Ds15 is playing basketball in the driveway with his mates.

Lay watching police interceptors snuggling up with my dog. Not feeling up to much more, I'm off sick for a month due to pregnancy related issues so need to rest up.
