What’s Happening In Your House?

Anyone up to much? Schools go back on Monday here but DD13 has been school refusing & only attended a handful of days since January. We’re trying to get her into her first choice school.
I’m on the internet instead of sorting the kitchen & cleaning the bathroom. It’s clouded over so will probably bring the washing in. I feel kind of hungry & a bit poorly at the same time. Tempted to have sweet potato & chilli soup for lunch. DH is making sausage pasta for tea as he’s finishing work a bit earlier. Might catch up with MAFS Australia.

DC have been making the most of the last few days of holiday by doing absolutely nothing after a pretty busy fortnight - including illness.

I've had the back door open with the sun streaming into the kitchen and had music on YouTube (not loud enough to be heard outside!!) all afternoon while I clean.

One of my neighbours is turfing out their dining table and they've offered me it. Ours went on the bonfire last November because it was absolutely buggered and it's amazing how much you miss a thing like that! So they're dropping it in for me tomorrow and it needs a little tlc so I'm looking forward to a project for the weekend!

Oooh where in the world are you?

Finishing up at my desk from work (wfh), dog pottering between this room and the front room to bark at passing strangers (they can’t hear her, nor our neighbours, fear not!). Contemplating what cleaning to do before a friend arrives for the evening, probably give the bathroom a quick once over and hoover the kitchen floor. Also more importantly, contemplating what takeaway to have tonight!

My 12yr old DS is sulking because i wont let him rearrange the living room furniture. Works just about finished and my friend is heading over after having looked after our dog for the afternoon and she is bringing Prosecco! Nearly the Weekend! Yay!

We've just been struck down with covid for the first time, so annoyed we made it this far without catching it. So we're on Disney movie number 4 of the day snuggled up on the sofa and are just discussing what to order in for dinner.
