What's with the new layout??

Totally new layout on my Mumsnet page this morning, and I had to sign in. Now it all looks completely different. Anyone else?

I hate it. Although on the plus side perhaps I’ll waste less of my life scrolling through threads on here

I can't see them changing it back, although they'll obviously sort out the glitches. There have been many changes over the years and lots of moaning about every single one of them 😬

Hmm it’s not too bad I think. Feels a bit snappier on my phone. Just wish it was a bit more compacted, both the active threads page, and the threads themselves.

Oh and the old colour coding on the threads has gone, seeing your own posts in pink was quite useful.

I don't like it at all. There was nothing wrong with it so why change it?

I looked on site stuff this morning and they've already implemented things mentioned, threads you've read being a different colour and being able to close images once you've opened them. I don't love the new layout but they are listening to things that need changing

You can reset that, go to your account, then settings then there’s another settings option on the left hand side and it’s in there, go for dark violet, the pink blush barely makes a difference.

Me too and I absolutely hate that. I don't like the look of it either, I didn't mind it the way it was before. So much wasted space!

I was unable to make any posts or reply so have had to put the app on my phone in order to type anything!

It looks like a website layout from around fifteen years ago such is the dated design!

Presumaby that's you, if you don't know your password have you tried a reset? You don't need to re-register which it sounds like you might be doing

Like the layout. Clearer, I can even read it without glasses.

Everytime I go into this thread now, my own post is sometimes not visible, sometimes is, sometimes posts have moved around onto different pages.

The quote nesting is why I don’t go on Reddit 😡

I really dislike it.
I liked the style it was before.
Won't be using mumsnet anymore, which will save me a lot of time.

Not a fan of this new layout tbh.

It's horrendous, I really dislike it and it's putting me off using the site. Have been here since 2008 or something but this is just a bit pants.
