I was watching The Sound of Music with DC yesterday, and Captain Von Trapp caught my attention and distracted me he’s very good looking

In my defence, it’s the first time I’ve seen the film the whole way through, so have only just noticed.

Anyway, it got me thinking that Captain VT (aka Christopher Plummer) looks kind of similar to Daniel Craig. Anyone with me?

And which other celeb doppelgangers have you come across?

Apparently Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg always get mixed up but can't see it myself.

Don’t see the Christopher Plummer/Daniel Craig similarity at all.

Think Rupert Friend and Orlando Bloom looked very alike when younger but Bloom has aged poorly and Friend has not, so the difference is more stark between them now.

So many of these have me going “omg! Doppelgänger”

Except for CP and DC.

CP was very handsome. DC is not.

Most recently, I've thought Sara Ramirez looks a lot like Tyne Daly.

I don't think CP and DC look at all alike personally. Some of the others I can sort of see.

Please don't flame me for this, but I do think the ability to see the differences in facial features is stronger in some people. It's not about being superior or more intelligent, but it's just something you have more or less of. There must be a sliding scale of that ability too.
