Oh I’m a creature of habit too @jessicama I’ve written more or less exactly what I wrote yesterday! And I’m addicted to porridge so I have it every day.

BarryKentPoet · 13/04/2022 17:42

@peachgreen

Honestly it makes me want to cry seeing how much other people can eat and not put on masses of weight. Some of these foods are just off the table for me - crumpets, hot cross buns, bread - I daydream about them! Maybe once I'm at a maintenance level I'll be able to have them again.

And this isn't me competitive under-eating - I WISH I could eat in what is clearly a very normal way, given the majority of the responses on this thread, but I just can't and I don't understand why.

Apologies, just feeling a bit sorry for myself. Yesterday I had one coffee (80cals), a lettuce wrap with a home-made low calorie spicy bean burger (479cals) and 30g of porridge made with milk and a spoonful of honey (300cals). And that's a pretty normal day for me. And yet I'm still a size 20! Sad

I am overweight but I also have cancer and just trying to enjoy food when I can. I've had to stop obsessing over good/bad foods.
