But. I thought Joaquin Phoenix was lovely when he was in his 20s, I think he's doubly gorgeous in his late 40s with a grey beard. Beautiful man.

A while ago I saw a v young Joaquin on an old episode of Murder She Wrote. Jessica gave him a bike and there were some murdery shenanigans at a theme park.

He was mesmerising in Walk the Line and The Joker, but that Casey Affleck association leaves a nasty taste. At the very least he was guilty of doing nothing to tackle or even challenge Affleck’s behaviour on set. All the veganism in the world can’t disguise the whiff of misogyny in that.

He’s not my type but I can see why people would like him. I preferred his brother River, but that was many years ago when I was into pretty boys.

Very excitingly, I just got called to be an extra in a film he's currently shooting. Fingers crossed I'm in the same scene somewhere (tho far more likely to be some mass person scene while he's not even in the country...)
