Nothing beats it, right?

I do normally feel a bit crappy when I wake up, but it's worth it Grin

Nope, not retired or SAHP. Work full time - from home. I have a lunch time nap.

My DH has never been a napper, he didn't understand my need for naps at all before we had kids. After the kids arrived he suddenly understood. Now we take nap turns on a weekend which I love.

When I come home from work I get a cuppa and then have a half hour snooze whilst DH is on child duty, he gets them sorted and then I take them to wherever they need to be. I also do bedtimes most nights. DH can't nap on a work day and I think this is because he's worried about affecting his night time sleep. It definitely doesn't affect mine.

Warm drink, blanket and TV before dozing off - love it!

I'd anyone with kids a car napper? When DS was little he'd always fall asleep in the car and if he was woken he'd turn into a devil child so I kept a little napping kit in the car (pillow and a blanket) and while he was asleep on the drive I'd put the front car seat back and have a snooze myself.

I always feel groggy after a nap and a bit sick.
