Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just about to finish my first cuppa of the day & will probably make a coffee shortly. The washer's already going (I'm sure the girls have been next door for extras 🤔). The sun's out so it'll all go on the line 🌞

I don't think we're doing much today other than a tidy up, and cleaning all the floors. I might clean/clear out the cup cupboard - they seem to have been breeding 🤣

Dd2 was going into town with their dad but decided yesterday that she cba 🤷‍♀️

This suits me fine - I want to carry on prepping the resources/materials needed at Rainbows and Guides this term so everything's ready to "grab and go". Dd1 will more than likely help with some of this. There's a new craft I want to try, and I want to carry on with the second crochet dino for my friend's ds 🦖

It'll be something chickeny for tea, I think, and we'll probably nip to the shops for sweets for later on.

We have been a household of norovirus this week, which was fun. In theory no one is still contagious but I am frankly too knackered to want to do much, even though I didn’t actually catch it!

DH will be working on his car & hopefully DD will help him a bit. I’d love to prep her bedroom for painting if I can muster the energy!

DS (6) will be bouncing off the walls unless we think of something to do with him. He has been thoroughly fed up with a week of house arrest. They obvs couldn’t go to holiday camp either so he’s been spending lots of time on screens while DH and I have been working.

I need the equivalent of when you exercise a dog by standing at the top of a hill and throwing a ball down, so the dog has to race up and down the hill a million times while you stand there doing basically nothing…. What’s the 6 year old boy version of that?!?!

I work in community fundraising for the RNLI and I'm going to a boat naming ceremony today. On the coast, obviously.

I'm finishing painting the bathroom - paint is looking a bit patchy so needs another coat, finding it really boring now but will stick on a podcast and hopefully get it done this morning.

Then a long walk this afternoon to get the paint fumes out of my nose!

This is all when I eventually get out of bed but the day started well - got Wordle in 2 and Heardle in 2 as well

Still in bed with coffee. Need to go into town to choose paint and wallpaper for bedroom. Possibly some gardening after that.
Think I need to give DS a lift to a gig tonight but nothing else planned.

I'm going to pick up a friend in a bit and we're going fossil hunting as it's low tide. I'm hoping to see our infamous dinosaur footprints too. Friend has offered to treat me to lunch after so should be a good day.

I am sitting in the sunny garden in my pyjamas with a cup of tea playing with Dpuppy.

We are going to a gig in Blackpool, the Lathums at the winter gardens.
We are getting the bus in, finding a pub to watch the grand National.
We will be eating at my favourite Italian, La Fontana before the gig
Then a taxi home

Need to buy some shelves and do lots of cleaning.
I’ll go out for a walk at some point.
Not sure about dinner yet. Possibly a curry.

I was out with work friends last night so am feeling a little jaded today 🙃 just sitting in bed with a coffee. Preteen DCs are happy to mooch this morning then I'll make sausage and chips for lunch and they want to come to lidl with me, presumably to sneak things in the basket. DH is at football all afternoon. Then a film and family dinner later.

DH taking me to my first ever climbing session today, then a disco nap before a friend's big birthday party tonight.

I'm a few hours ahead of UK... I've faffed about at home looking at holiday clothes online, come to a shopping mall to get some tshirts, had a nice seafood salad for lunch (though far too much of the green stuff) and had a cocktail. Next step....a coffee and dessert (maybe), supermarket shopping and dinner out tonight.

DS1 is back from uni for Easter so lots of washing! DH has gone for a run and then ripping out the en suite bathroom ready for the builder again next week. Two bathrooms down one to go! DS2 is revising for A levels and then will need dropping at work later. Free pizza for supper!
Maybe a walk if the wind drops.

DH and I were up early to watch the F1 qualifying. Just finished breakfast.

Planning an nice walk in the sunshine to the beach after we get everyone dressed. DS1 is at his dads so it’s just us and our two dc (3 &2) so rest of the day will be pretty laid back.

If it stays nice will get the chalks out so the kids can draw in the garden while I get the washing hung out.

Debating baking some biscuits for them to decorate too

We are going for a walk along a river that’s about a 10 minute drive from us with a flask of tea for a couple of hours. Then DH is watching football and I will be on my Xbox doing a raid which is a complex mission with multiple people later.

DS GF is arriving after work, will watch a film this evening after having dinner together. Will stick couple of laundry loads on.

We got back from our holiday yesterday, so mainly thinking about unpacking, our summer house has a washer, so at least everything is clean.

My son has a birthday party to go to later, I bought a present last week, I now have no idea what I’ve done with it, the wrapping paper or the gift bag.

Morning all, I was up at 7 with toddler, he's been off his food this week but woke up asking for pancakes so that's how we started our day. He had chicken pox from nursery last month and his appetite has been crap ever since so it was good to hear him asking for breakfast.

We've been cuddled up watching Dinosaur Train on YouTube. Love those early morning cuddles when the house is quiet, he's just mastered saying 'I love you' and it's the sweetest thing to hear.

I've left him to it now while I make another coffee and hang the washing out. He's galloping round the living room making 'rawr' sounds!

We're meeting my older DC in town later, probably end up in Mcds for lunch and then have a wander round the shops. It's a rare dry, sunny day so we'll make the most of it!

Get the dogs out for a long walk after town, then back home and let the kids chill doing whatever for the rest of the day. I think I'll do Chinese chicken curry for tea, with fried rice and prawn crackers. Then wind down with some Netflix.

DD11 has her friend over for the weekend. They're still asleep. Mine you they watched the whole Twilight Saga (again) in bed last night and I'm not sure what time they finally crashed out!

I just got home from a night shift so am eating toast and then sorting the washing out in the hope it will dry. I should have a nap before DC come back from my in-laws because I have been awake for nearly 28 hours, but I also need to write the appeal for DC1’s secondary school place while I still have enough caffeine in my system to make sense. Later we need to pack because tomorrow we are going to Wales with family for a couple of days, and tidy up, make dinner and hopefully go to bed at a reasonable time.

Having a coffee in bed right now The dc are on their devices and their older cousin who slept over last night has shut herself in the bedroom to group chat with her friends on facetime. I've got an order to make and ship for my Etsy shop and a few things to pack for ebay. Might make cabbage rice for dinner later (nicer than it sounds!). Tomorrow we're off to the pony centre for pony rides and hissing cockroaches! 😱

DH got up this morning and did all the laundry/hung it out, made us all breakfast in bed and is currently cleaning the kitchen. I'm about to get up and then we are going to a model railway exhibition to pick up some ideas for my set up. Then into the city to buy dd's bus pass for next term, lunch in our favourite cafe, library, book shop (I have a voucher) and then this evening, we are at our local folk open mic night to raise money for Ukraine.

@AllotmentTime you could always do the same with your ds 🤔🤣

@Invasionofthegutsnatchers my girls like to sneak things in my basket too! Dd2 put some marshmallow hot chocolate topper things in, in Home Bargains, a few weeks ago. I didn't even know I'd bought them until we got home & I unpacked my bag 🤣

We were all up early today as online shop coming early as we are heading out for the day to a national trust place. Have packed a picnic and looking forward to a good walk and the children can let off some steam! Might even have a cream tea in the cafe love a national trust cream tea.

Have prepped a quick dinner for when we get back. Chicken wrapped in bacon and roast potatoes and veg. Will fling that in the oven when we get back and by the time we've unloaded the car etc sorted out muddy boots etc it will be ready.

Lovely day can't wait!

We held my mums funeral yesterday, so today I’m spending the day tidying up all my mum’s paperwork and stuff that I’ve got scattered around my home. It’s time to get sorted.

Dd1 is at cheerleading so taken dd2 to the park as it’s sunny . This afternoon not sure what we are doing , maybe the library and I need to mow the lawn .
Macaroni cheese for dinner .

Not much happening here today. I'm about to get showered although have been up since 7 with DDog. DC are both gaming and DS1 is chatting to his friends at the same time. DH is watching cricket.

Going to do some cleaning when I'm up and dressed. I've got to drop DS1 at a friends house this afternoon and take DDog for a walk. I'm working on the bar at the local football club this evening so it will be a late night for me. I've had the last couple of days off work and it's been lovely and chilled.
