Excellent. I got it in two because my first choice had 3 of the letters and there was only really one (or possibly two) words it could be for my second guess.

I’ve done it one. Was totally buzzing for the rest of the day. Didn’t think to buy a lottery ticket though so missed out there! One word of caution though - every other go will now be a slight disappointment if you don’t get it in one. Completely irrational but true

The NYT have wrecked it and applied a woke agenda. It's a no from me.

I got it on the 5th, and only just as I changed my mind on the second letter at the last minute.

Ha, I had almost exactly the same experience as you, Autumnleaves except I hit the jackpot on 4/6. Extremely frustrating though.

I did get heardle in 1/6 and framed in 2/6 today though which feels like a redemption of sorts (if I ignore the fact that there's scarcely a person alive who would fail to get today's heardle, plus the 2nd clue for framed was a dead giveaway too - very little skill required on either of these).

Herdle I either get it in one or not at all, there seems to be no middle ground 😎

I don’t know that Wordle is particularly ‘woke’, unless acceptance of American spellings is on the agenda! (Who knew that favour had 5 letters? Ages ago, so not a spoiler!)

My second word had as many possibilities as I could think of for the missing letter - even with four greens there were so many possible words!
