My Mum gave me a huge Lindor

It's an Easter egg but packaged as a giant Lindor ball (the red ones). I spent a happy five minutes holding it and pretending to be a borrower while my DC (who haven't read The Borrowers) stared in bafflement and asked why I was giggling. Grin

Yes, I am far too old to still be getting an Easter egg from my Mum, but she enjoys giving little gifts and I would never turn down chocolate. Also yes, I am far too old to be pretending to be a borrower.

I almost went mad trying to open that ball everything I wanted a Lindor...Threw top half away after the third go.

Aw, I'm feeling all nostalgic - my sons, now in their 40s used to love the TV series.

I remember one episode when Homily (the mother) was wearing a dress and the one button at the back was the size of a dinner plate, and I felt sad about that, for some strange reason!

As an aside, I've met Penelope Wilton, Dame that is, who played Homily and she is lovely Smile

Enjoy your egg.

I did Easter egg hunts round the garden for my two until last year (when it was raining I think). One was 24 the other 26 😂😂

I have a giant pencil that I was given as a child. It works! It’s brilliant. I still pretend I’m a Borrower. Solidarity here, OP.
