Is anyone else experiencing this weird flu thing

since Friday I’ve felt very unwell, tested negative and it seems like half my friends have some weird flu/cold. Is it just us?

All my LFTs were negative. Only had a positive PCR.

I read advice to use the flowtex nasal LFTs on the back of throat too, before nostrils. Just as we did with PCRs.
I had a slight scratchy dry throat and tested positive using this method. Still testing positive after day 8.
Symptoms in order: sore throat, fatigue, aches and pains, headache, sneezing, runny nose.
Now just slightly bunged up. Day 10 tomorrow.
Both adult children both started with scratchy dry throat so had my suspicions.
I managed to avoid giving to my elderly mum but acting quickly.

We had flu 5 weeks ago with all of the usual symptoms tested negative but then 2 weeks ago we came down again with exactly the same thing and tested positive
