My favourite one - house sitting for a year was a huge house in late 20s in Cheyne Walk, it had spiral staircase, viewing balcony and had been stayed in by Jack Nicholson. Owners were family friends who’d moved abroad temporarily. I had so many parties there but the owner paid for a cleaner once a week too. Although I had friends stay I basically lived there by myself, bliss and probably the only time I’ll live in a really posh expensive house in my life!

  1. House until 8 months
  2. Rental house for 6 months
  3. House for 16 years
  4. Bungalow for 12 years
  5. Flat for 3 years
  6. House for 15 years
  7. Current house - 7 years

That's telling my age isn't it? IF we move again, it'll certainly be our last move.

merryhouse · 05/04/2022 10:44

2 in childhood
4 as a student if you count halls of residence
6 since then

so total of 10, not changed since the age of 29.

I'm 40 and have lived in 21 different places since my birth. I've been in this house almost four years, the longest I have ever lived in one premises aside from the home I lived in from age 10 to age 18.

Mydogisagentleman · 05/04/2022 11:11
