As Bunglie's Box is getting so big and turned a little sour, I thought somewhere smaller and more bijou would suit. We can still suspend it above Mumsnet Towers if you like

It's the waiting that's the frustrating thing with my dad - the biopsy showed that it was a more aggressive form than they first thought and may have spread, so he has to have a CAT scan. We're all still smiling and trying to stay positive Smile

best of luck to your dad and family, and hope that he can get the tests done as soon as possible to find out what the position is.

We're back now, MTS, taxi (finally) turned up (unfortunately I had to take dd too, otherwise would have walked, but it's a long way). For once we didn't have to wait for the GP, and we've had a lovely walk back though, looking at all the beautiful lights and street decorations, and everything's fine.

It's just a waiting game with my dad - so frustrating to feel that you are so helpless and can't do anything other than wait. But he's staying positive, and although there is a 60% chance that it's spread to the lymph, there's also a good chance that they can stop it there with chemo.
