..... is it going to be as bad as I think?
Has anyone seen it?
I'm about to start it

DrWankincense · 02/04/2022 21:22

I watched it the other night.
Honestly, don't waste your time.
Posh lady in nice dresses throws up a lot.
That's about it.

Siennabear · 02/04/2022 21:24

I saw it at the cinema.. it’s ok. Passes a few hours I guess if you’ve got nothing else to do!

Lacedwithgrace · 02/04/2022 21:30

It's shite, Kristen Stewart was a bad choice.

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 02/04/2022 21:34

I turned it off when she started running across to the scarecrow

DomingoinLittleOakley · 02/04/2022 21:37

It's absolutely one of the worst things I have ever watched (and I've seen Mr & Mrs Smith.)

I don't actually know what the point of it was - it was mad, but with nice scenery.

Do yourself a favour and give it a swerve.

Twixie2022 · 02/04/2022 21:38

An hour in currently and tbh it might get turned off soon...

Flackattack · 02/04/2022 21:39

So odd - I guess that’s the point - couldn’t finish it

knightsinwhitesatin · 02/04/2022 21:42

I watched it this week and liked it, I thought Kristen Stewart was great, and the whole thing was cleverly done

wakinguptosunshine · 02/04/2022 21:55

I washed it yesterday, I thought it was terrible!

wakinguptosunshine · 02/04/2022 21:55

*watched it

Nothingfree · 02/04/2022 21:58

forget it, it's crap.

Christienne · 02/04/2022 21:59

@jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey

I turned it off when she started running across to the scarecrow
Yup, that’s about the point I gave up too.
QueenofLouisiana · 02/04/2022 22:07

Watch it in order to enjoy the fuck ups in continuity (changing number plates, cars that are 15 years too young….).
Also the complete lack of research in order to know anything about the U.K.- my favourite is a scene outside on Christmas Eve, it’s apparently 5pm and there’s brilliant sunshine in the garden. Not in Norfolk in December, there isn’t.
I really wanted to enjoy it. I even went to the cinema for the first time in almost 2 years. It’s shit.

NurseBernard · 02/04/2022 22:10

It was … odd.

And she whispers throughout it. I have a hard enough time following movies, without whispering.

IstayedForTheFeminism · 02/04/2022 22:16

My brother saw it at the cinema. He said it was "even more obvious than before that the RF had her killed" Hmm
Based on the comments here I assume its not accurate at all and therefore he's talking shit (not that I needed confirmation of that).
I'll probably still watch it though Grin

ISpyCobraKai · 02/04/2022 22:18

I thought it was pants and Kristen Stewart was really awful in it.

Tomeeornottomee · 02/04/2022 22:21

It’s possibly the worst film I’ve ever seen. I only watched due to extreme insomnia. I was hoping it would send me to sleep. In fact it was so awful I thought I was having some sort of sleep deprived hallucination.

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 02/04/2022 22:23

We've just watched it and the soundtrack has given me a migraine.

And the cars!? Diana drives along in a Porsche at the beginning, only to arrive at 'sandringham' in a completely different Porsche. With a different number plate and everything. And there's also a landrover in it with a 16 plate regiatration. Those two errors annoyed me from the very start.

I'm not usually this fixated on car number plates. It this has irritated me. And I didn't like that they were all moaning about the cold when I am literally sitting here under a.blanket with 2 jumpers on, a hot water bottle and ice on the inside of my windows.

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 02/04/2022 22:25

@queenoflouisiana I'm so glad it wasn't just me that noticed the wrong cars!

gettingolderbutcooler · 02/04/2022 22:25

Dull, slow, tedious and very unwatchable.

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 02/04/2022 22:33

I feel I need to go back in just to see the number plates 😃

OP posts:
ladygindiva · 02/04/2022 22:35

Yeah, pile of shit. And I'm not really very selective. It really is crap.

Pombearsforthewin · 02/04/2022 23:04

Shockingly bad all round on all fronts. The bit where Diana ‘gets lost’ and can’t find Sandringham is complete rubbish. She was born on Sandringham estate and knew her away around the area very well! Don’t waste your time watching it. CODA is a good film though - highly recommend that!

PuppyMonkey · 02/04/2022 23:19

I can’t stand the royal family but you’re all making me want to watch this now.Grin

Khalas · 02/04/2022 23:21

Watched it on the plane; is a plane film.
