Just wondering what people pay around the country for electric, now that the prices have increased.

I now pay 31.06p per unit plus 47.28p standing charge per day.

My supplier is Eon Next, I was transferred to them last year when Symbio went bust.

I am in Sussex.

@Crunchymum

I'm with Shell (London)

Electricity: 29.63p per kWh standing charge 32.14p per day
Gas: 7.51p per per kWh standing charge 27.22p per day

When did you have your price increase info through? We got bumped to shell when our supplier went bust and they've get to actually send us a bill, it's just on the app when I log in but I've had nothing about price increases.

Eon Next fixed until October

We pay £175 per month. We paid £100 a couple of years ago but this is 'ok' for us. Goodness knows what's going to happen in October, hopefully it will have settled a bit by then.

We are in Central Scotland, we're now paying 30.19p/kWh with a standing charge of 55.32p/kWh. The unit charge went up by 50% and the standing charge more than doubled. I asked Shell Energy why such a high standing charge but couldn't get a straight answer out of them. I do wonder if it's something to do with the house having solar panels.

Standing Charge 49.68
Unit charge 27.38
