Winnie the Pooh newspaper strip

Years ago there was a drawing of Winnie the Pooh (and either tigger or eyeore) looking out to some fresh snow and a caption beneath it. I cut it out of the newspaper because I loved it so much. Been googling to try and find it but either I am not using the right words or maybe it no longer exists.
Can anyone help?

The comic strip was drawn by Richard Moore OP, may not be of much help in finding the specific one but if you google "winnie the pooh comic richard moore' or some such similar wording those will come up.

If you still have the cut out you can take a photo of it on your phone and upload the image to search google for a match or use 'search with your camera' - in the google bar on your mobile, to the right there should be a little camera logo. Click it and then follow the instructions. You just scan the image you want to search for and then google will find a match on the web if there is one.

Thank you Flowers
Sadly I don’t have the cut out anymore but will google what you suggested.

It wasn’t a strip it was just one drawing/picture. The caption was something along the lines of a fresh start/fresh snow - it really resonated with me. I know I sound wanky but things are tough at the moment and I have become embarrassingly obsessed with finding it

OP posts:
AutumnOrange · 30/03/2022 21:18

Thank you - it definitely had a caption under the picture

OP posts:
SpringIsSprung1 · 30/03/2022 21:19

The OP said it was Tigger or Eeyore. Although Piglet is the cutestSmile

SpringIsSprung1 · 30/03/2022 21:21

Pooh and Piglet rebuilt Eeyore's house during a snowstorm. They sang a song about it...

SpringIsSprung1 · 30/03/2022 21:27

This is from my book.

Could have been piglet! Sure it was a drawing of pooh and whoever from behind (so only saw their backs) and there was snow and a caption underneath - can’t believe I am obsessing over this 😂
But I know it meant enough to me years ago (10-20 yrs ago) that I cut it out and put on my pinboard - which is very unlike me! I don’t do wanky shit like that but I really want to find it 😫

It was definitely in a newspaper (probably the mirror) and it was definitely just one picture - not a strip.

Do you remember roughly what it said?

AutumnOrange · 30/03/2022 21:54

It said something about a blank canvas - bloody hell it is driving me mad! It wasn’t even that deep but it just resonated with me

This is my favourite Pooh quote and is Pooh and Piglet in the snow

AutumnOrange · 30/03/2022 22:00

Aww I love that one but it isn’t it.
It was Pooh and a.n.other looking at/walking towards untrodden on snow and a caption about a blank canvas or some such.

OP posts:
AutumnOrange · 30/03/2022 22:01

Oh and it wasn’t in colour

@SpringIsSprung1

Pooh and Piglet rebuilt Eeyore's house during a snowstorm. They sang a song about it...
Yes they did!

The more it snows (Tiddely pom)
The more it goes (Tiddely pom)
The more it goes (Tiddely pom)
On snowing

And nobody knows (Tiddely pom)
How cold my toes (Tiddely pom)
How cold my toes (Tiddely pom)
Are growing

I remember when I was in primary one my favourite book was an old red cloth bound copy of The House at Pooh Corner and I recited the poem to my teacher.

"The future lies before you, like a field of fallen snow; be careful how you tread it, for every step will show. "
Was it this quote on a picture of Pooh maybe?

AutumnOrange · 31/03/2022 17:28

No it wasn’t but thank you so much anyway.
The caption was literally about a blank canvas and referenced snow that hadn’t been trodden on.

I don't want to suggest that your treasured memory might be faulty to this extent, but this Calvin & Hobbes strip is along the same lines - any chance you might have conflated two cartoons or something?

suckingonchillidogs · 31/03/2022 18:03

There's a book called Pooh's Snowy Day, maybe it came from there?

AutumnOrange · 31/03/2022 18:45

Oh my god @uselesstrees
That’s it! You found it! 😀😀It wasn’t Pooh after all 😂
Thank you so so much! That has made me cry! Thank you!
Thank you to everyone for looking Flowers

OP posts:
AutumnOrange · 31/03/2022 18:47

I cut out the one bit where they go exploring and you see the back of them and in my head it was Tigger therefore it was Winnie The Pooh - memories are bloody weird things!
You have absolutely made my day 😀
