I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day; I have the kitchen window open & can hear the birds chirping away. It's lovely ☺️

The washer's on already so I'll peg the washing out when that's done, and there are a couple of pots to wash up that I'll do next time I get up.

I need to nip to town for some chocolatey things for the last Guides meeting of term. Dd1 wants to come with me, dd2 wants to stay here with their dad & do her homework.

When we're back, I might get out in the front garden & cut back the brambles that have started creeping further across it again.

I want to either carry on with my crochet t-rex later on, or my book. I'm undecided which yet! Dd2 is after my book so probably the dino 🤣

I'm not sure what's for tea yet so should probably have a look and decide at some point. There'll definitely be a glass of wine, for me, to accompany it

Hey!!! I'm just having a brew then off out to the horses to ride for a hour, paint my fencing then home to tidy up and then I'm off to work for a night shift! Upside is I'm off tomorrow, not a huge mothers day fan but i have to say i am looking forward to being off for it. I've worked every mothers day since DS was born 6yrs ago.

I’ve just finished my first coffee and pondering the next. Washing is on & will hang it out later.

The weekend will be revolving around the garden/allotment I think. Plus getting the DC to do homework and at some point do something other than play on screens 🤦‍♀️

Kind of tired and not really feeling inspired by the weekend so I’m reading this thread to try and perk me up!

Have lots on with the DC today. I've no cooking as I had a roast chicken last night and used some to make a Thai curry.
I've to clean and tidy a bit. Might get my car washed. Coffee morning is on locally too.

Looks like the last lovely day here (it's been a glorious week) so we'll make the most.

This morning will be swimming / chores / homework and then we'll head out for a canal walk and have lunch somewhere along the canal. I'll do a pack-up.

We'll come back via the park and I'll treat the kids to ice cream.

Kids can watch a film. We have meatballs for dinner and after they go to bed I'll settle down with the TV. I've just finished "Reacher" and I've started "Bosch"

I am considering vacuuming round while DH and DD2 have popped out to see MIL and deliver Mother's Day flowers.

Then family are descending at 1ish for a little garden party for DD2s 13th birthday. I've got some nice m&s party food to throw in the oven and DH is collecting her cake after MIL visit!

Should be a lovely day.

I've opened all the windows, scurried down for toast and orange juice to scoff in bed whilst checking up on you lovely lot.

Meeting a friend for lunch their birthday at 12. They've invited me a bbq later and a game of pool this evening with lots of other people, but I've declined that part. So after lunch will be book and a bench in the park enjoying the sunshine.

Beautiful morning here.
I’ve already given the DDog a 4 mile walk through the woods and across the fields, enjoying a coffee then I will crack on with tidying the garden, nearly finished.
If it’s warm enough then I will sit outside and do some knitting later.
I have a chicken to roast for dinner, I fancy cold chicken and chips tomorrow for lunch.
Not looking forward to the weather getting colder but at least I have a stack of logs and will enjoy the wood burner.

My turn to to take DS1 to football this morning, so I’ve got lucky with this weather! After lunch I’m hanging a new mirror, and in the garden some trellis with artificial leaves to disguise the ugly fence. Then I’m helping DS2 with his veg seeds, possibly a Lidl trip before pizza for tea.

I was supposed to be nipping into town to try to buy a new dress, but woke up at 5am with some sort of horrible tummy bug. I've had a hot bath and am now back in bed with a hot water bottle.

Hoping I'll feel better soon and can at least get out for a walk and a coffee.

Morning all. Lovely and sunny here. I aim to clean bathroom properly! Wrap ds birthday presents..he will be 15 in a week. I am on 7th week of hrt patches and am starting to feel like a human being again. I will probably make curry for tea and finish my Nicci French book. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Morning! I'm still in bed whilst DH is up with DD, they will go swimming soon and I'm going for a run. Off to meet DSS17 in town later for a wander, I want some hammock time at some point in the sunshine. Tonight we are having an in the house date night once DDs in bed & we have lots of yummy dim sum to enjoy.

Morning. I'm having a coffee in bed as I worked eight days on the bounce and exhausted. Will get up shortly and tidy up. Ds1 has tennis at 12 and Ds2 has asked if we can go for a Costa. The two of us will do that while ds is at tennis. Will have a wander round town, I need a new mascara. Not sure what we'll do for the rest of the afternoon but having gammon and mash for dinner. Then will finish watching pieces of her on Netflix

Going out with my 2 DDs this afternoon - a surprise for Mother’s Day ….think we are going for afternoon tea which will be lovely.
House is lovely and quiet - DH in bed after a night shift and DDs elsewhere until later.
The cats are both basking in the sun on the patio.

I've had a lie-in and DH has just brought me coffee.

I'm helping my friend in her shop this afternoon as one of her staff has called in sick with Covid. I've been stepping in on standby for a few months now and actually really enjoy it when I get the chance.

I'm reading a really good book at the moment and I need to register online at some point for a short university course I'm starting in April. Will probably watch some TV this evening, nothing too taxing on the brain.

Tomorrow is shoe-shopping with tween DD, send me all your best wishes!

Just finished my first post-having Covid HIIT class. My breathing isn't still quite right so it was tough. But I missed exercise so much I had to do it!

Grocery shopping now & then matches x 3 for the DC, glorious sunshine so for once I'm not complaining at standing at assorted sidelines.

House is a mess. That will be late afternoon task, in between bringing youngest DC to a party.

Lovely day here too. Ive put some washing on, taken dd to a club and been for a run while she is there, just wanting for her to finish.
Ds is at home with dh and has a friend round.
Me and dd are stopping in the village to pop to the post office on the way home.
Bit of tidying and cleaning when we get home, change the sheets and then after lunch we are going swimming.
As we hate swimming (dh and I, the kids love it!) We are having tea at the pub and a couple of drinks as a reward afterwards!
Sun is out so should be a lovely day all round!

I’m having a coffee, uniforms are on the line and our bed sheets are in the machine ready to go out shortly.

Pulled pork is on the slow cooker for Mexican feast tonight, I made chilli yesterday, we’ll have spicy rice, corn cobs, tacos and I might make margaritas!

We have a house full this weekend, DSD is 13 tomorrow so she has 4 friends to stay, they’re currently eating pot noodles for breakfast We’ve also got two of my friends boys staying as well as DS1, DS2 and DSS - and DMIL is coming later!

We’re going to go on en masse dog walk to the park I think and then they can all get in the pool later… it’s freezing but they don’t seem to care!

Tomorrow the kids are having fancy crepes for breakfast and then my mum and dad are coming around for a full Irish with DMIL for Mother’s Day, then DP and I are off to the Cotswolds for a couple of days - think we’ll deserve it by then! Phew!

Only been up about 40 mins so still on my first coffee. Load of washing on as per usual! Hoping to spend most of the day in the garden
I'm going away for a few days with my Mum next week so need to plan what clothes to take and probably do done ironing
Tonight bit of telly, no idea about tea but a few glasses of wine with whatever it is

Morning all, it's another sunny day here so we have plans to get into town then spend some time in the garden when we get back.

I was up early with 2yo, we sat in the kitchen eating toast and juice (strong coffee for me!!) and now he's watching Curious George while we wait for DD11 to get ready.

Need to pop in to see my mum after town, take her some flowers for Mother's Day.

Hitting the mountains later on in the day and down at sunset. Gonna take DS who is 13 out for breakfast then drop him off down the village for the day.
