Despite how thin Kate is, her face is lovely and pumped up. I want the name of her doctor! Great work re the fillers.

Well, it is in the eye of the beholder, obviously. I think she's a lovely person, I'm a fan but every photo of her in the pre-makeover era shows somebody distinctly average and everybody who has mixed with her says the same. If you can find any which show somebody who was on a trajectory towards becoming skinny with chiseled, fine features then I would be interested to see them!

She has always been really pretty.

When you say as well if she was born this way why would she have had the work done..,well it’s about maintenance/prevention along with some enhancements.

If you think she’s average I’d love to see what kind of person you think is above average!

I would love Profhilo but alas, I can't afford it. Its 3x the cost of Botox, and I can barely justify that.

Back to Kate, anyway. She looks amazing. And those photos also make you wonder how amazing we could all look with unlimited funds, unlimited time, access to the best of the best in terms of practitioners, hair stylists, makeup artists, chefs etc - and a fuckton of discipline, day in, day out.

Blimey, I would never call Kate ' average ' in the looks department.
She is beautiful and can carry off any style of clothing.
I think Meghan is also beautiful, both those boys ( who are hardly the most handsome of men ) are both 'punching' ( as they say ) , big time!
I'd love a figure like hers , but my own ' iron will ' is sadly very lacking.
(I'd love a bit of Botox on a new wrinkle I found , thats definitely getting worse! )

I think she is and has always been extremely pretty! I’d love to look like her. If she has had a bit of help along the way she’s only doing what many women with a bit of spare cash do…….and she probably has a bit more spare cash than most!

She’s had a lot of work done but looks great.

She is truly stunning NOW - and that is the wonder of it and as I interpret it, the basis of the thread. She had the basis of becoming what she is now, I will concede that. Not everybody is a blank canvas worthy of being sculpted into a fine work of art. However, due to my own previous occupation, I spend a lot of time objectively looking at people for what they basically look like. I asked another poster to post a photograph of Kate pre-makeover to demonstrate that she was exceptionally beautiful but nobody has bothered. As I said, it is in the eye of the beholder and further, if your own basic face shares common characteristics with Kate (and many British women do), then it is likely to appeal to you and there is hope for you too.

Agreed @Soffit she was definitely an average, reasonably attractive young women pre the royal makeover.

I think she was a perfectly pleasant looking young woman but if I had walked past her on the street pre royalty I really wouldn’t have given her a second glance.

I think initially Profhilo (round here) is £700 for two lots then maintenance is £350 twice a year. So once you’re on to the maintenance part it’s on a par with Botox (depending on how often you get Botox). But if you want both then it does get ££.

For bang for your buck. Botox is more effective, profhilo more subtle. If I had all the money in the world I’d do Botox, profhilo and radio frequency. Radio frequency to address slight sagging that one gets in the late 40s...

What does profhilo actually do? Heard very mixed reports but no one indifferent. Either love or said pointless!

@nolookingdown it’s a skin remodeller (whatever that means) so hyaraulonic acid injected in to the skin which plumps (without adding volume or changing shape of the face). Then it stimulates collagen and elastic. Or it’s supposed to.

Very mixed reviews. Apparently the depth you inject is very important. Too deep and you get no effect. And I think this is when people claim it doesn’t work. Plus it’s a good month or so after the second injection (or longer) to see results. I have seen people on here moaning they haven’t seen results after two weeks and therefore it’s a load of rubbish. I do get loads of compliments on my skin about 2 months in. Then I forget I’ve had it and wonder what they mean.

However, I personally (and my doctor agrees) that is does wear off sooner than the 6 months they recommend for a top up. About 4 months I’d say.
So it starts to get very expensive. One of those treatments all the doctors have themselves but when you’re actually paying for it...

Laughing about profhilo…we don’t have it where I am from, but I started laser light treatments. I thought they did nothing. Total waste. I started using an okay cream and have been getting loads of compliments and I told many it is okay. Then I remembered the treatments and how they are supposed to stimulate collagen. It does take a few months to see the difference sometimes.

She looks lovely in all the recent photos, I think she always does.

I’m hoping with profhilo the effects are cumulative! So you keep stimulating collagen instead of losing it and in 5 years you don’t age as much. We’ll see!

I had Profilho. The results weren't instant but after a few weeks my skin looked plump and glowing. It was very subtle but I was pleased with it. I haven't had it done again as it was expensive and I'm not sure it was worth it. But I'm considering having it again.

I have never even heard of some of these things!

I forget to even put mascara on.
