My top two 😀

These are MY mugs (as opposed to general household mugs) and woe betide anyone who uses them!

Two Jodi Taylor 'Chronicles of St. Mary's' mugs, an ancient Richard III mug (about 30 years old) and a lovely,faded cat mug I was given when I left a job about 25 years ago

Love my Hello Gorgeous mug for first morning coffee - it takes 2 x extra long coffees from my machine to fill it, so good for a wake up brew!

Floral one is a fave for tea, even though it cools a bit too quickly, it’s got a good handle, thin enough (but doesn’t feel too thin like I’m going to accidentally take a bite out of it!).

The yellow espresso cups were from our holiday in Italy. I have mugs from all my holidays, which were all happy memories until DP and I split, now every time I drink tea or coffee I feel a bit sad as it reminds me of happy times! Need to get some new mugs.

@kagerou we have a whole heap of them.... And like your DP's ours are ironic. DD2 uses one as an ashtray and the others go to builders when they come. I enjoy watching their reactions!

These are my best mugs. All presents from family, and they hold enough tea to drink before it gets cold without having to refill the whole time.

This is my current favourite day-to-day mug. Bought it in the depths of January to look forward to Spring.

Great size, great thickness, great shape, great handle. Great ‘feel’ in the hand.

Just starting out on my Emma Bridgewater collection, so this is one of three. My next favourite is the pheasants, and DH usually gets the capercaillies.

Next I’m going to buy another spring themed one so that next year I will have a set of two (I like sets).

It is addictive, I have hundreds but I really collect jugs.

@TheHoptimist I know!! It started with a couple of Christmas mugs and 6.5” plates...Now, just a few months later, I’ve got various pieces and about 100 items on my wish list and I’m having to ration how often I’m allowed to look at the site. What Pandora’s box have I opened?!!

I have a few favourites. Here are two. The first one is for the first cup of tea of the day. The second one is for coffee.

Ooh so many mugs here I couldn’t drink from. I’m a proper anal mug fuss pot and they have to be the ones why h have straight sides and go out a bit at the top, @clary and @Wrinklepicker have the right shape. Anything else tea tastes wrong.

We have a set of Le Creuset mugs of various colours. My go-to is this one - somehow, the pale blue or pale yellow ones always make my tea taste insipid!

I looooove the other orange mug. It simply makes me very happy. That's for curling up on the sofa with a piece of chocolate cake sort of mug.

Is the other one from Anthropologie? It's lovely.

This is my coffee mug. Its huge. Currently on the look out for another one as this is one my ex bought me.

My DS bought me this too. It came from B and M about 18 months ago..

I've got a mug fetish. Especially anything chunky with a reactive glaze.

Brilliant thread! This is my favourite (possibly of all time). Bone china and hand-painted from a lovely seller on Etsy. Not huge and nice and slim - I don't like drinking from really thick rimmed mugs.

I feel the same about my le creuset mugs. Tea tastes best from the green one and coffee from the orange

This is my tropical themed mug. It brightens me up even on the gloomiest of days

The grey mug I've had for nearly 40 years !!! It's survived many house moves and makes a lovely cuppa !

From my favourite podcast, The West Wing Weekly. By the time I paid in dollars on my debit card and the customs/import charge it probably cost about £40 but it was worth every penny. You can’t get them anymore and I dread something happening to it.
