This is today's tea mug. I like it small so it's still hot when I get to the bottom.

I LOVE this one! So lyrical and Really gets the message out there. 🌹

@Gonnagetgoing it’s an Orla Kiely one from John Lewis. I bought it with my Christmas vouchers!

These two are also up there with my favourites that other people can't use

I'm on the look out for a coffee cup that's very small, but not espresso size. I've never found it yet.

I am reading this and proper sulking. My DH used my favourite mug for the builder to drink out of every day for 3 months when I was at work. No one else in the house EVER used it. In his feeble defence, he said it’s because it was big. I have had to throw it away and he thinks I’M the crazy one.

Was it broken or just used by someone else

Ohhh @Lookingforanswers202 I like the pink one! Also the yellow stripe. Spotted a baking mug too but it doesn't say "jumbo" so may not be big enough....

I've deliberately not looked at any of the mugs because I'll want them and we already have too many despite almost never buying any. They just appear. How does that work?

Do people just have dozens of mugs that they never use or do they get rid of ones when they get new ones?

@BarbaraofSeville - people just buy me mugs and I also buy people mugs so eg my mum and DB and SIL.
I went through a phase of buying DB and SIL Christmas mugs with posh coffee beans ground and a Christmas sweet/biscuit and I also buy them espresso cups but vintage as they drink this, I don’t.

My crab for tea and gnome for coffee .

Left to right, weekend his & hers, middle tier his & hers, Denby everyday mug and his I'd like to get rid of, but he loves it.

Both mine are in the dishwasher, but my
morning coffee mug is an old Cath Kidston one, it's just the right weight and thickness. New Cath Kidston ones I've bought are thicker and heavier and I don't like them as much.
Favourite tea mug is an Orla Kiely one like the one upthread. I can't drink too much tea in one go and it's just the right size.

I wrote this all out and it wouldn’t post - hopefully I’ve now not duplicated… anyway

Top left - favourite coffee mugs, both Sainsburys. I particularly like the handless mug as you can really hug your coffee

Top right - more delicate/pretty I like these for rooibos tea

Bottom left - nice chunky mugs - Denby and Sainsburys. Like these when I make a pot of tea (loose leaf, English breakfast) as they hold a lot

Bottom right - builder mugs. A four pack from Tesco, of which we seem to only have 3 left.
