Ah, mugs...definite hierarchy here. Mugs of decent thickness and capacity take priority here, followed by pairs of matching Cath Kidston mugs. @DomesticatedZombie how did your favourite mug get stolen?!

This is my favourite mug. Correct thickness, a full four finger hold on the handle, perfect size.
No one else is allowed to touch it...and they know it!

@Wilkolampshade I actually have the same one but my parents (staunch republicans) picked it up from a car boot sale for some reason

Scale! Found my 1st fave cup too. Morrison's. Perfect shape & thickness, holds about a pint.

So is the 'you are my sunshine' your favourite? I also have that mug but it is my second or third favourite

This is my absolute favourite mug. It's big and holds a lot of coffee but not toooo much. You can fit three fingers comfortably within the handle, and that's important. It's a nice shape to hold. Its nicely balanced so the weight in your hand is easy to hold. And it's quite pretty - it's got flecks of silvery glaze and a wonkyish finish like it's artisan (which is why I found it in a fancy shop).

We have a set of Le Creuset mugs of various colours. My go-to is this one - somehow, the pale blue or pale yellow ones always make my tea taste insipid!

I looooove the other orange mug. It simply makes me very happy. That's for curling up on the sofa with a piece of chocolate cake sort of mug.

I also have 2 large Cath Kidston ones one is large white with sort of coloured ribbons and other is green floral - prefer first.

Very dinky, the perfect small coffee cup. Its 9cmnto rim, so about 6cm full would be a tiny but not espresso size coffee.

My mum always uses tiny mugs, and always gives us them too. We hate them!

This is my favourite. I like tea out of an orange mug for some reason, and this one’s China and just the right size

No pics but I buy my DM mugs as presents - her current fave is a sabre toothed tiger one and a Whittard turquoise white Alice one. Oh and a bees one which I’ll find.

My favourite coffee in the world is from a cafe in a small village in the south of France. I usually go to the village for a couple of weeks in the summer & I've missed it hugely during covid.

It is pale, but not THAT pale!! 🤪but if YOU enjoy yours that's all that matters!!
