Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just enjoying my first cuppa of the day. I have the kitchen window open so I can hear the birds singing away & the distant noise of the main road. I'm going to get the washer going in a minute, the weather outside looks lovely 🌞

Everyone's still in bed at the mo, but the girls are off into town for lunch with their dad & Mother's Day shopping. Dd1 must remember toothpaste too, for her residential!

I'm going to clean and tidy upstairs, while they're out. It's a bit of a mess & really needs the hoover shoved round/bathroom properly cleaned.

Hopefully I'll have time to iron & do my Rainbows/Guides prep for Tuesday too, but if not I'll do it tomorrow.

I haven't got a clue what's for tea yet, considering frozen fish since me & dd1 cooked a new dish last night, but I'll decide later on.

Good morning, I am excited as we’re off out to try our new e bikes today! It’s lovely and sunny here this morning so hopefully it will be a nice day up at the forest trail. Rugby on TV later on and likely Chinese for dinner. 😀😀

I'm going to peg some washing out, have a tidy around and then take my little boy and my dog for a walk.
Come back and have some lunch, then rearrange my bedroom (just been painted).

Laundry day here, plus done tidy up in the garden, tidy up the plants pots in readiness for spring summer then popping to my sisters for a birthday party.

1 child up at 5am full of beans and raring to go. Other child is still asleep and not well so he'll probably be in bed most of the day.
Rough plans at the moment - a run to the tip, sort one of the rooms out a bit (been having building work done), attempting gluten free pizza for the first time, and maybe start jet washing the garden if we have time.

Lovely and sunny here. Pop up the road for some odds and ends and then get ready to meet friends - we're off out for a boozy birthday lunch.

DH has Covid so lazy day for him. DS and I are going to do some jobs/ homework and then go and get his feet measured. Call at local NT place for an hour on the way back.
I also want to get some plants and redo my pots.

I was wide awake at 5am, out walking the dog by 6.30am. A beautiful, if rather windy morning.
Just finished my third coffee, going to jump in the shower then do a bit of shopping in town. Visiting friends overnight so will be heading off to theirs after lunch.

Lovely day out ☀️ Going to get some washing on, tidy round , walk the dogs then booking this years holiday with friends. Riding my horse later.
It’s days like these I realise how bloody lucky I am ( last five years have been really difficult)

Glorious day here! Ds1 is 6 today so birthday party 10-12 then an afternoon in the garden with sunshine, cake and cider (for grownups) fabulous day

I’m in bed with my cat purring very loudly beside me. Just drinking my first cup of tea of the day!
I’m going to cut the grass today and hang out the washing that I’ve just put in.
Then I’m going for a walk and a drink with my old neighbour and then watching the qualifying for the f1 on tv.
Turkey burgers for tea tonight and a glass of red wine (or2)

I've baked a cake and run the hoover round. Adult DD and partner are coming for lunch. I had a text at 6.30 am asking if they could bring a load of wet laundry to peg out in our garden - they don't have a washing line. DD commented that she now understands the joys of a good drying day

Morning! I love these threads so much.

Just had my first cuppa of the day, came down to find both DCs watching TV. DDog has had his breakfast so we are going for a quick blast around the field now.
Then off to pick my uncle up to get some tools, taking DD to show her where her residential trip is tomorrow, and get her some wellies.
Then we are going out with said uncle and friends to find a pub garden with a playground and celebrate this lovely weather. Hoping spring has sprung and winter is gone for another year. Hoorah!

It's sunny here so we're going to have a picnic for lunch in the allotment. We've already taken the dog a walk, been to buy milk and now we're having breakfast watching The Wind in the Willows.

My time in Covid jail has ended today. I have taken the dog to the park and am just having a tea in the sunny but cold garden deciding what other 100 places I can go!

That made me grin @FourChimneys! I have similar conversations with my DD - who knew it would ever come to bonding over the laundry 😀
I am feeling full of vim and vigour today, and in the mood for doing all sorts of odd jobs round the house. Currently making leftover soup, to free fridge space for supermarket shop.

Nursing an unexpected hangover I only had 2 large g&t’s last night, but woke up this morning with a pounding head! I’m hoping tea and hot cross buns will sort me out.
DCs are off to ExH’s at lunch time, at which time I’ll go back to bed to get my head down for a bit before my night shift tonight.

Morning! Already have 1 load of washing washed and on the line drying lovely in the sun! DC are both playing/ watching cartoons while I get myself ready and pack their bag then we're going to the play park, might even take a picnic! Then it's tidying and cleaning up while they both nap this afternoon and if it's still nice we will walk the dogs out to meet DH from work this evening!

Washer has just finished so I need to peg that out and do another load - making the most of the nice weather.
It's dance show weekend for Dd 17 so she's just been in the shower. She has to be there before dinner so we need to check she's got everything etc
Dh has gone to town to get his mums Mother's Day stuff.
Ds is sat with me whilst I have a brew and he has his breakfast
Meeting dm for lunch later as it's my birthday and Dh is watching the dance show tonight.
I feel exhausted just writing it down

I’m sitting drinking a hazelnut coffee before I drop DS1 to football training. I’m recovering from a broken collarbone so it’s my first time driving in 6 weeks so hope it’s not too painful!
DS2 has his face in his switch as per usual
DP is on nights so is not long in and in bed.

I’ve had a real craving for potato bread this week so going to pop in to sainsburys on my way home and get some to have with a full English type lunch when DS1 is back and DP is up.

We’ll take the boys out on their bikes with the dog later and then they’re off to their dads, DP will head in to work and I will binge watch Downton!

Morning @lucysmam. It's a beautiful day here I've already got one load of washing on the line and another one about to go out.

Our older ones are away for the weekend with their hobbies so just have the little ones here which is quite nice actually. We've all had tea and toast and stories in our bed which is quite nice.

I'm meeting my parents for a coffee / walk / catch-up in a bit looking forward to that.

Later on one DC has a party to go to so we will walk down there then maybe head to the park for a little bit after.

Little ones having dinner early seeing as older ones arent here (normally we all eat together) so when they are asleep DH and I are cooking together and just hanging out together with no teens in the way 🤣 I want to try a new recipe from my new cookbook. Bottle of wine and TV aswell

DD wants to go swimming but Ive got long covid and not sure if I can manage it, really don't want to disappoint her though as she's had a rubbish week.
Will definitely get a couple of wash loads out in the line

Lovely day here. Just sat with my grandson who's eating his strawberries and grapes - feeling very happy as he slept over with us for the first time overnight and it went really well.

Just waiting for his parents to pick him up and then I'll do some gardening and maybe sow some seeds. My husband's away in the nearest city today, doing his voluntary job. Feel I deserve some r and r and definitely a g and t tonight. I abstained last night for obvious reasons!!! Have a great day everyone,

Morning all

I've been up since 7 as DP woke me up getting ready for work, he won't be home until late tonight. I've had a cup of tea and a lovely bacon and egg sandwich. 36 weeks pregnant and still feeling great! And so today I'm taking advantage of the lovely weather and giving all of baby's clothes and blankets the first wash and dry out on the line. It's making it all so real

Very dull. Sitting in the car dealership waiting for my car to be serviced and having its first MoT. Annoyed I can get 347 varieties of coffee (I hate coffee) but no tea. Also I'm starving!

Will do a big supermarket shop on the way home - probably not he best idea when I'm this hungry ha ha. Pub tonight.
