Is the sky a horrible colour where you are?

It's so strange here (London) - sort of sepia with undertones of greenish yellow! I don't remember ever seeing such an unappealing sky.

Yes, I’m in Spain, the sky was Orange Monday afternoon and yesterday, and air quality horrendous. Had rain overnight and everything is covered in orange sludge. Hoping for some clean rain now to wash some of it away. It’s just horrible.

Oh good, sand doesn't freak me out, and my car is filthy anyway. It looks so end-of-the-worldish out there it was giving me the creeps.

I have felt really down and depressed today and I honestly think its the ghastly sky that's doing it.

Cars around here (south east) are covered in sand so I have an explanation but it is still making me feel very uneasy.

Yes! It's almost the colour the sky goes just before it snows.

We had a bit of rain earlier and my lovely white car is now a murky muddy orange colour.

We had the orange tinge and muddy rain - now its absolutely pouring which is handy as the car was looking awful.

Ordinary grey sky here now and it's pissing down (home counties N) but when I switched the windscreen wipers in my car on earlier when it began to drizzle, they wiped a load of brown stuff to the side. So I deduced a cloud of dust from somewhere.

Pure white here in North Yorkshire, almost like it would snow, but not cold enough.

Near London. My car's covered in orange dust. Was fine when I drove it earlier today.

I wondered what that was on my windscreen, I thought it was courtesy of the neighbour's builders!!

Just a normal grey here in Berkshire. It did say in the paper this morning that there was a Saharan sandstorm currently affecting the colour of the sky in Madrid, it didn’t say it was expected to come here so soon but it’s probably that.

According to Metcheck.com and their global dust and aerosol forecast, (who knew? I only just disovered it myself) there is a large dust cloud coming up from due south. The Sahara probably.

It's just plain old grey and steady rain here in Bristol. Horrible. It was lovely and spring like yesterday.

Yes! This mornibg a weird yellow light everywhere, then this afternoon my car (and everyone else's) covered in orangey muddy stuff - looks like it's been raining mud! Car washes will do a roaring trade tomorrow!

Earlier on it was pinky-orange, but it continued to rain rain rain all bl**dy day.

East. Exactly the same sky.

It's raining here, so grey, but with orangey undertones. It does remind me of what it looked like when sand from the Sahara blew in. It looks very opaque.

Yes, but it's West Yorkshire so it looks just the same old shit as normal.

I did read on the news that Michael Gove was really happy at the arrival of a new consignment of Sahara Dust.

It has been an odd colour, quite moody

But then all the cars are covered in dust and dc told me excitedly about dust storm from the Sahara
