Is there more doors or wheels in the world?

Big Twitter debate apparently.

So what do you think?

Are there more doors, or wheels?

Wheels

SuperSocks · 11/03/2022 16:38

Far more wheels!!!

ImAvingOops · 11/03/2022 16:39

Wheels - they make loads of things work

Soubriquet · 11/03/2022 16:39

I’m assuming wheels too, but then people are pointing out things like cruise ships have countless doors and barely any wheels.

Hedonism · 11/03/2022 16:40

I think doors. We have loads in our house! But then Lego wheels.... 🤔

Soubriquet · 11/03/2022 16:45

That’s what I was thinking. Lego wheels

Wheels if you include mills.

LaraDeSalle · 11/03/2022 16:47

Doors.

arethereanyleftatall · 11/03/2022 16:50

We instantly said doors in our house, and then started counting wheels - cars, bikes, motorbike, toys, wheelbarrows, heelies, hoverboard, Lego, there's loads!

BlueSpottedGiraffe · 11/03/2022 16:50

I originally thought doors but every other video on my TikTok is about the debate and I am now firmly team wheels.

Teastheword · 11/03/2022 16:54

Depends on what kind of doors and wheels we include!

MedusasBadHairDay · 11/03/2022 16:54

Wheels. Just on lego and hot wheels alone.

Also if you start to include things like steering wheels, or cogs, or the little wheels you get in drawers that allow them to slide open.

Soubriquet · 11/03/2022 16:54

Plus don’t forget, some beds, shopping trolleys, display units, fridges, hoovers, wheelchairs, children push along toys all have wheels

Think how many cogs in a watch.

Wheels definitely

TheChosenTwo · 11/03/2022 16:56

Dd1 has been chewing my ear off about this for the last few days.
She is adamant it’s wheels.
Hospitals - so much machinery, beds and equipment is transported on wheels, lots of curtains rather than doors.
Lego wheels and hot wheels toy cars.
Offices - chairs on multiple wheels
Drawers etc often reliant on some kind of wheel mechanism.
Theme park rides - lots of wheels.

I came back with prisons, lots of doors!
I think I agree with her now.

Hedonism · 11/03/2022 17:06

Well if cogs are included then that changes things.

Soubriquet · 11/03/2022 17:13

@Hedonism

Well if cogs are included then that changes things.
It doesn’t specify what classes as a wheel or a door.

Do cogs count?
Do cupboard doors count?

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 11/03/2022 17:21

I think wheels win here. Even if you count cupboard doors and the shower door it's easily outnumbered by Lego wheels.

Gilead · 11/03/2022 17:52

I have two Zimmer frames, both with wheels. Wonder if they’ve been counted?

Rogue1001MNer · 11/03/2022 18:38

The word cog is short for cogwheel.
It ain't no door

SunflowerSmith · 11/03/2022 18:43

My first thought was wheels because of the cars but then they have doors too.

Tombero · 12/03/2022 08:25

Do advent calendar doors count? Or dolls house doors? Or metaphorical doors i.e when one door closes another door opens? Or doors between worlds?

I’m thinking wheels though.

Soubriquet · 12/03/2022 08:32

I honestly don’t know. I guess it depends on your own interpretation of what is a door and what is a wheel

OP posts:
ItsSnowJokes · 12/03/2022 08:34

Team wheels.

FindingMeno · 12/03/2022 08:35

Wheels!
