Ooh that's an interesting question, and one that BBC More or Less would love. Lets hope they pick it up, it's right up their street.

They once tried to answer the oft debated issue about whether there are more stars in the sky or grains of sand on the earth and go through the maths to get a ballpark answer to compare.

I'd go with wheels, but it really depends on what we're counting as wheels, because if it includes many industrial machines have literally hundreds of wheels. But then they also have quite a lot of doors because a big machine will have dozens of access panels (aka doors) to allow the people who run the machines to get to the wheels.

On the matter of industrial machinery, all well as lots of cog/wheels, they often also have lots of rollers, which are just really really wide wheels...

I would go with stars purely because we don’t know how big the universe is. It’s endless. Therefore there are endless stars

I can see 11 doors from where I’m sitting, but no wheels

All the hotels, cupboards, advent calendars, trains, shops, office buildings (ours have 500 lockers in them). Then like a PP said, all the access hatches/panels…

My first reaction would be wheels but on reflection, I reckon it could be doors…

Apparently the world's biggest tyre manufacturer is Lego...

Lego make tyres and rims and axles. Only when you put them together does it become a functional wheel so I'm saying they are out. But, absolutely depends on definitions.

I was going to say wheels as I started to count the doors in my house, then realised I'd have to count the kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors, car doors etc so now I'm not sure....,,

Yeah I was thinking of all the cars, but there's like 4 doors on most of those 🤔
