Somehow we've almost filled 2 threads already so here is thread 3. I still need a distraction from the news, and Semantle certainly fits the bill.

To understand what I'm on about followthis link. It's a word game like Wordle in that you need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

Hmm, I guessed 873 which set me on the right path, but looking at the list I’m confused why it comes below many of the others that are definitely less related - 873 is far more like the target word than 904 948 or 986 for example.

Also what the hell is 978? I don’t want to google as the image it conjures up is gross enough.

I had 974. It was not overly helpful and sent somewhere completely different and wondering why another word for 974 wasn't even in the top 1000!

So yesterday's was like a repeat of the day before wasn't it. I'd assumed every day would be a completely different topic. Wanted to say that yesterday but can say it now!!
