Somehow we've almost filled 2 threads already so here is thread 3. I still need a distraction from the news, and Semantle certainly fits the bill.

To understand what I'm on about followthis link. It's a word game like Wordle in that you need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

Bit disappointing today as words I would have thought to be high were not. Won't say which ones obviously but will tomorrow!

I got it at guess 83 today, by then ~13 in the top 100. Easier than some, though.

Ok, got there. Am off to see the problem with 999! I felt like I was going backwards towards the end!

999 is odd because we’ve never seen (that sort of thing) in a list before, have we.

There seem to be some typos/abbreviations for the target word. I mean, it's not supposed to be about spelling...

999 I actually did a double take and checked with google to see if there was an alternative meaning.
