Still having periods at 56!

And having peri menopausal symptoms.
I am so fed up with this, I thought my periods would have stopped by now.
Anyone else still having them at this age.

I’m 55 and still regular although for the last 18mths have been on evorel sequi.

My sister is 58 and regular. Recently she changed from evorel sequi to conti and is waiting to see if her periods will stop.

I'm 52 this year and periods still regular as clockwork. So bloody annoying as I've been on Tamoxifen too, for the last 2 years FFS! And, every other female relative went through the menopause in their late 30s and early 40s.

I always wonder if those with PCOS will have periods for longer?

Google says yes... also that PCOS ppl have less risk of osteoporosis.
Had to be some +side, right?

@lljkk that's interesting. I'd never googled it, just kind of thought it made sense. As for the reduced risk of osteoporosis... I guess that's something!
