...strawberry sherbets, or Yorkshire Mixture. But they make one's mouth sore so I might have to get some toffees - mint, treacle or rum butter - to scoff afterwards.

What will you have from the sweet shop ? Don't worry about the cost, or your teeth. MNHQ is picking up the shop and dental bills for everyone.

I also loved the pink and white iced caramels a pp mentioned but I only remember them from Woolies pic n mix not the sweet shop.

Pineapple rock - different to pineapple cubes although I like those too
Bright pink on the outside, yellow on the inside, slightly less prone to shredding the roof of your mouth than pineapple chunks? Yum!

Herbal tablets. Still get them sometimes off the market and they are as addictive as they were when I was a kid. I used to work in a newsagents as a teenager so I was very adept at weighing out just the right amount of everything.
