Do be careful if you are going to pop it. 11 years ago I had a blister (on my heel) which I jokingly said was 'a blister the size of Bicester'. Wasn't laughing 4 days later (after popping) as was in emergency A&E with being a 50/50 chan e of seeing the next day with a flesh eating bug. Don't mean to worry you, but be very aware that even such a minor thing as a blister can develop into nasty things.

Perhaps someone could help me! As I previously mentioned on this thread I gained some blisters last week! The ones on my heels are heeling nicely. But i have one which is on the sole of my foot running into the crease of my little toe. It's really sore but as it's thicker skin it's not a traditional blister as such.

I keep applying plasters which sort of work but it's doesn't seem to be getting better.

Any suggestions would be very welcome

I always Drain mine. Sterilise a needle, clean the area throughly with antiseptic and just put a tiny hole in it. Let it all drain then clean the area again and add a plaster. As long as you don’t take the skin off it isn’t sore. A small hole just lets it drain.

Two things:

Why does the Op have a framed picture of Tony Blair?

Why is it on the floor?
