Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day. Unfortunately not in silence 🙄 the washer's on already. I've got the window cracked open a little bit & can hear a couple of birds singing away.

Dd1's off on residential in a few weeks so we're off to get some travel bottles & something for her to wear to the student union quiz night (it's 3 days at York Uni).

When we get back it's homework for them, then probably Minecraft. & painting Zog spoon puppets for me, for work.

Tea's the leftovers of last night's Chinese takeaway 😋 and a glass or two of wine for me.

Tonight I'll either carry on my current crochet project, or start my new book. It depends whether the book arrives today. The girls will more than likely watch other people stream Minecraft 🙄 and ask to stay up late since it's Saturday.

Sounds like a very busy, productive day for your household. Wish I could say the same !
I'm going to have a bath, walk my dog, read my book and await my granddaughter. We'll probably paint, play with her dolls and bake some cakes.
Actually, I'm doing more than I thought.
And I now want Chinese for tea. I haven't had it for ages. I'm supposed to be losing weight for my holiday but I think I'll start Monday 🙃

Lazy morning, cook brunch (bacon egg avocado tomato bagels), beach walk with dog, tea, cocktails, out to dinner.

Off to work , then nice evening at home alone as DH off to watch the rugby with mates! My perfect Saturday night.

We're going to look at a house, fingers crossed it's the one and if so today we will be buying a new house.

Just having a cuppa. Just given our 11 week old kittens their breakfast. They're now settling back to sleep (lucky them!). Gonna have breakfast, get ready then my nephew this girlfriend are coming to meet the kittens. We're then all going out for lunch to local Italian. This afternoon DD1 is working, OH is going to football so DD2 will play with said kittens when they're awake (forgotten how much little ones sleep!) then we're playing badminton. Snack tea and more kitten cuddling. They've taken up it of my half term but I've loved every minute and seriously don't want to go back to work next week 😥

We are having a rare lie in. DSw normally has swimming at 6am but his pool is being used for an event so thats canceled. DS1 usually has football at 9m but that has been moved to 12. I'm currently in bed with several cats on me.
Later will be football, and food shopping and watching rugby on TV.

I'm struggling to wake up this morning so have downed a coffee and am about to go back for more.
DCs are playing cars on the floor and DH has gone off to work for the weekend.
The house looks horrendous so I'll be spending half the day trying to get it back to being acceptable. Might go for a wander in town round the market and get some new books from the library.
DS needs to do his homework so we'll fit that in at some point.
Pizza for tea as it's Saturday and I fancy something simple

Waiting for a new TV to be delivered this morning.
Washing is in the machine and will be followed by several other loads. Hopefully some of it will dry outside.
Bed to change, usual dusting and hoovering and bathroom cleaning.
Might go for a walk later if the TV arrives before it’s dark.
DH will make a prawn curry tonight and I’ll be knitting.

Out for breakfast DH’s treat 😁 then some housework or at least putting a wash on. Watch the rugby this afternoon and then a few glasses of wine this evening 🍷

@Lemonweightloss yours sounds like a productive day too! We haven't had takeaway in ages & I was owed some back-pay from last month so we used it for a tasty treat 😋

@FlamingGoat good luck with the move! We're hoping to move soon.

Eating breakfast in bed (thanks dh!). Kids are off to clubs in a minute so I might go for a walk and listen to a podcast then house needs top to bottom tidy. Will then watch rugby on TV.

I have overshot the early start to get to parkrun in time so currently sitting in my car trying not to get too cold before running(/walking) 5k!

Morning , the sun is shining here today so when I’ve finished my coffee I’ll go for a run . I need to do a food shop and I’d like to tidy the garden as it’s the first dry weekend all winter .

Long walk with the dog this morning. Then we will watch DS2 play football this afternoon. Hoping Covid positive DS1 feels better as he's been really unwell for over a week now. We're supposed to be a friends for dinner but no one wants to socialise with us in case we're contagious. A quiet night in it is!

I finally won a major bobbin victory in an ongoing conflict with a sewing machine but now I’ve forgotten what I was so desperate to sew.

I've been up for a couple of hours already as toddler woke at 6.30 wanting a cuddle but is now back to sleep but I was wide awake by then.

Beautiful sunny day here might get some washing on the line maybe.

Eldest off to Saturday hobby all day in a bit, dh will take them then after lunch the rest of us are off for a walk in the woods and then we will get eldest at the end of that.

Can't decide between spaghetti meatballs or tacos for tea. Meatballs more faff as would have to make them this morning so maybe save those for tomorrow.

This evening I'm out to a friends house for a glass of wine and a catch up and can't flipping wait!

Off to see Death on the Nile at local cinema this morning, then having Chinese lunch after with adult DS.

Our morning has already been filled with screaming, whiny, grumpy children but it did mean we have already done the food shopping as we figured our lazy morning was already ruined so might as well get out the door early. We have got to pop up to town in an hour to pick up our living room paint. Dh is at work later today and I have to take ds1 to a football match he is watching with his youth club. Hoping to take ds2 to the park and the cafe as there will be no point me coming home.

Morning all - I’ve had coffee in bed (thanks DP) and he’s now out walking the dog. I’ve got the washing on and the robot hoover is pootling about in the background. DSS and DS2 are playing some game next to me on the sofa, DS1 is waiting for DP to get back to take him to football training. DSD is still in her pit…

We’ve got friends coming over for lunch today and then will watch the rugby - DS1&2 are going to a birthday dinner tonight so just 4 of us for dinner here… not sure what we’re having, DP has organised.

Off to the cup final tomorrow which I’m excited about - feels like a long time since we’ve been to Wembley!

A/Leave all week so having a lazy hour in bed.
Both teenage sons are up now and we are going to tackle re felting our shed roof as badly damaged in the winds. Hoping it won't take too long.

Me and DH are off out for lunch while the teens stay in bed I imagine
Then tonight it’s family curry night (I’m cooking) and a few glasses of wine and a good movie on TV.
Tomorrow I am meeting a friend for lunch and a dog walk.

Reading that back there’s a lot of food involved
