For me it’s Leona Lewis’s version of Run by Snow Patrol, I love that song but hate her version of it.

Tears For Fears like it, they've just covered the cover on their Piano Room slot on Radio 2 They covered it well!

The All Saints version of Under The Bridge. Horrific mangling of the brilliant Chili Peppers original.

I was coming on to say this, horrific is the only word to describe it.

My Pilates instructor plays music during her classes. No idea why - for one thing it makes it hard to hear what she's saying. She has an awful set of what I assume are cheap (no royalties) covers, including a hideous breathy butchering of America by Simon and Garfunkel, and don't get me started on someone who thinks they can compete with Stevie Nicks on Rhiannon

My best friend loves the Leona version and can't stand the Snow Patrol one, and I sometimes consider ending the 30 year friendship over her terrible taste and judgement.

I wouldn't say ruined by any stretch of the imagination but I prefer Dolly singing I Will Always Love You rather than Whitney.

YY Dolly's version is so much better.

James Blunt recently on Radio 2 murdering the absolute classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water". He's a smart, funny guy but an absolutely terrible singer.

A New England by Kirsty MacColl (original Billy Bragg), a brilliant song completely ruined.

I love the Madcon cover from 2007. This in turn has been covered by Maneskin. It’s dire.

The corrs version of dreams, just awful. I love the original and anything else that stevie nicks ever says/sings/wears.

I love James Blunt but wasn’t keen on this, something sounded off. Strange as he sounded good on the song before, I think it was ‘Monsters’. Still bloody love him though.

Kylie Minigue and James Corden decided to ruin DH and mine's song with their collaboration of Yazoo's Only You. Don't mind Kylie, but James Corden makes me stabby.

I actually quite like Miley Cyrus’s own stuff but her cover of Nothing Else Matters (Metallica) is utterly horrible. (Her take on The Cranberries’ Zombie isn’t great either, come to it).

The Script covered Eminem’s Lose Yourself....it was terrible.
