What is currently lost in your house?

Mine is my nail kit. I've got a make-up bag with nail clippers, emery boards, cuticle cream, toe separators, buffer, ridge filling base coat etc.

It's been missing for about a month now. I've bought some new emery boards but I'm not buying everything else. Where the hell is it??

A marble from a kids game and two swords from pop up pirate. I know this is par for the course with small children. But it bugs me nonetheless!

Whenever I lose something that I know I have put safe or it's definitely in the house I lie on the floor in the dark and go to my mind Palace no idea why it helps lying on the floor but I just but my mind to the task and sort of focus on all the furniture in each room until I feel a spark of memory and check it out.
Found some special jewellery I had hidden when went away and my kindle.
The memory is usually there.

My watch. Its not in either of its usual places. So annoying

The spare key for the front door.

we have one of those locks where you can not just get them copied-you have to have the form to send off-which is also lost. we have found lots of old keys and two old forms to send off for keys but none that match the current lock.

I think we just move house don't we?

Lots of individual baby socks. I have three that are not in pairs and two have not been worn even once

Fixings for several pieces of furniture. We moved a year ago and they've been found and re-lost twice since then.
We're also missing loads of other things but I've stopped caring now as it'll be years until we get around to looking for them

My Apple Watch. The battery has gone it so cannot "ping" it. So annoyed!

One of my new winter gloves. I've only worn them once, put them down with my bag and now I can only find one. It's even more annoying than losing both of them!

My soul!

A scarf I bought on a weekend away. Brought it home hung it up together with a jumper I bought. Jumper is there but scarf never been seen since. Cost me £30. Grr. Can't remember wearing it ever.

Half the socks. I long ago gave up trying to pair my own but the kids and my husband will only wear pairs. I refuse to buy more because they’re bloody well here somewhere.

Hair bobbles & clips. I have two daughters and over the years must have bought a few thousand of each. There’s currently 6 bobbles in the tin.

I use it every single day for work. This morning it has vanished. I have turned my work area upside down. It is nowhere.

Then I jotted some measurements down on a piece of paper, put them on the table, came back to them and the paper had vanished!
I'm really starting to thing someone is playing silly buggers today!

Check pockets of things hanging up in the wardrobe... I found £40 birthday money 6 months after thinking I'd lost it! Was in the hoodie I'd been wearing that day. Happy days!

Until about 1 hour ago my credit card. Used it last night and put it on my purse with my debit card. This morning, debit card there but no credit card. Spent all day looking. Asked my children. No joy. Offered a reward tonight and guess what?? It’s found by my youngest in the most remote place i would never have placed it. Ever. He denied all knowledge and tried to claim the reward.

Ds very very precious newborn blanket (he’s 4 now) and I search for it and I never ever find it. Know for sure we didn’t lose it outside anywhere and I keep checking ebay etc but can’t even replace it 😞

Set of weighing scales. Given that we have had an entirely new kitchen since I last saw them I’m just about ready to accept they’re gone forever but it’s the mystery that bugs me. I’m assuming they got broken and binned but both kids and cleaner would have fessed up - we’re not talking family heirloom here.
