As the other thread is filling up and things are just starting to get real. Here's the next instalment.

The drone FORTE10 is on its way back to base in Sicily. This one has more info than the previous night.

I'm watching redeye6 - along with millions of others.

I think C2 aircraft being over that part of the world has been sadly fairly normal on and off for quite some days weeks now, so fingers crossed there is nothing that unusual about redeye6.

One thing’s for sure, with all the intelligence gathering going on NATO has been hovering up a heck of a lot of information about the way Russians go about business in the build up to a confrontation, and will have learnt quite a bit about the characteristics of some equipment.

Would like to know what's going on with NJE815R which is supposed to be going to Munich from Exeter and is repeatedly looping Leeds Bradford Airport.

No real idea…if it had been a combination of multiple times around the hold combined with multiple approaches I’d guess crew training but there’s been no approaches that I can see so?

There's snow in the area. That's probably got something to do with it.

It has landed at Leeds.

I should have checked…LBA forecast is dire at times this afternoon(300 metres vis in snow showers) so they might have been holding waiting for snow shower clear and/or even a bit of runway sweeping..

Earlier I noticed a Belfast to Liverpool had made a couple of attempts to land there and then headed off towards Newcastle. I'd guess that may also have been a snowstorm - we're a bit further north, and had an hour or so of the most massive snowflakes I've ever seen.

We're shortly about to take off from Kitilla in Finland to Gatwick. Is everything back to normal there?

From the weather POV looks like chance of heavy showers, v windy at times but mostly down the runway so hopefully OK (but bumpy)..

FWIW it looks like he is set up at the Courtyard Marriott (on Bath Road) which overlooks 27 Right ..

That will have been the landing runway until the switchover that happened at 1500, for rest of the day it will be almost exclusively used for takeoffs.

Currently trying not to watch Jake12 looping over Ukrainian airspace but like the 13k other watchers, it's hard not to.

@handslikecowstits how do you see how many people are following it on Flight radar?

On the side panel underneath the name of the plane it says #1 worldwide and next to that 'tracked by 13,148'.

I'm not on a mobile though. I'm on a laptop so it might look different via a mobile app.

FORTE11 has just arrived from Greece.

A plane from Guernsey has just aborted landing at Manchester and squawked an emergency alert. Heading in my general direction and it is VERY windy here.
