Tried a different tactic today to work out/eliminate some of the vowels and most common letters in the early guesses. 2nd guess had no letters from 1st guess. Common letters based on what my memory was of a letters scrabble points 🤣

Worked well for todays word. Not sure if it would be as effective for words with less common letters.

Got it in four. After the second go I realised it could be three different words so my third guess was trying to eliminate some more letters

I always use the same 2 opening words, line 2 has no common letters with line 1. The only exception is if line 1 reveals loads of correct characters. Which it rarely does!

Colin I read about this yesterday. Something to do with the NT Times making changes to the coded words. Why it’s not been done in one go, I have no idea.
