I don't get how this works. If you've got four greens, how can the final letter be a yellow?!

But if the letter only appears once in the word, and has been marked green because it's in the correct place, I didn't think a repeated letter that wasn't used a second time got marked as yellow?

It does, because it is a letter in that word but it isn't in the correct place. The colour scheme doesn't distinuish between letters that are repeated or only used once.

Nerdle, the numbers one, on the other hand does distinguish.

I got Mathler, Nerdle, and Mini Nerdle all in two tries each today!

But...it does?! Look at this screenshot (from Wordle unlimited that colours exactly the same as far as I know)

In the word START the T in the correct place is green. The T in the incorrect place ISN'T yellow, because the letter T doesn't appear again.

DH still hasn't worked it out today. He's very good with words so I always feel good when I beat him.

I'm just excited I worked out how to add my score onto here literally just copy and paste I know but hey ho
