There's a goose in my bathroom.

We found an injured goose. So he's in the bathroom waiting for the SSPCA to collect him. Tried to get a pic but he's right at the door and I don't want him to get out. I think he's possibly a pink footed goose and suspect that he's been blown by the wind into a building.

The goose has just bern collected. I was starting to get rather attached to him but I'm happy that he's going to get the help he needs.

The SSPCA officer thinks that his injuries are relatively minor and that he'll be able to be released.

He's left radioactive green poop all over the bathroom but nothing that can't be cleaned. The colour is almost impressive.

Oh, he really is beautiful, but I find large birds quite frightening so I’m in awe of you for helping him out. I like to think I’d have done the same thing, but in reality, I’d have probably got my DH and DCs to help the goose while I hid in the garage/car 😬

I don't blame people for being scared of large birds. Geese are very intimidating.

I'm already missing Manfred(As I've decided that's what he's called.) but he'll be released here so perhaps I'll see him around.

I came home one day to a note on the bathroom door which I read as "theres a herring in the bath". Thinking there was some random fish it was actually a bloody Heron!! We've saved foxes, crows, sparrowhawks etc.. They seem to know we will save them!!....

My friend once woke up to an owl sitting on her kitchen worktop...she thinks it got in via a flue on the aga.
