There's a goose in my bathroom.

We found an injured goose. So he's in the bathroom waiting for the SSPCA to collect him. Tried to get a pic but he's right at the door and I don't want him to get out. I think he's possibly a pink footed goose and suspect that he's been blown by the wind into a building.

@DuckDuckGooseGoose

What an opportunity to announce that there's goose loose aboot my hoose*

We found a seagull wandering around our living room, but I'm more impressed by your goose.

I'm rather envious of your seagull. I love gulls though preferably outdoors.

Now am singing that advert song! was it Maynards wine gums?

We once had an owl in our cowl, but fortunately she (or he) didn't descend down the chimney.

Oh , what a lovely thread. Well done for looking after your goose.

Brilliant thread! We get slugs in the kitchen. Not sure I can win the thread with this. Grin

I know it’s early but I feel like Manfred deserves a space in classics

I wrestled a seagull out of a Footlocker in Bristol a few years ago. 🤷🏼‍♀️

We once spent the night with an injured sparrow hawk in the bathroom because the SSPCA couldn't get to us to collect it until the morning. It was actually a very well-behaved housemate and rested in a box happily.

I'm loving all of these owls in cowls and herons in the bath stories. Thank you for sharing.

It was and now I'm craving Winegums.

We've saved foxes, crows, sparrowhawks etc.. They seem to know we will save them!!....

Thank you for helping them. We're the same. Injured wildlife and stray pets always seem to find their way to us.

Oh bless him, I hope he makes a good recovery. We live close by a canal and often feed the wild life....bit wary in breeding season as the parents are very protective of their young, but the fluffy goslings are mega cute 😍 ♥

I'm impressed. I'm not sure that I'd be brave enough to tackle a gull, much as I love them.

How lovely. Not that the poor thing was injured but what a special guest.

I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to keep Manfred for the night though we'd probably have been drowning in radioactive green goose poop if he had stayed any longer but I'm glad that he's receiving the help that he needs.

It's been a good week, first the ghost cat that that turned out to be a rabbit, now a goose!

KitKattaktik · 16/02/2022 22:02
