I made DH a toad birthday cake :-) now wondering if it's too weird!

One of his nicknames is "toad" (don't ask) so I made him a warty toad on a tree stump! It's a bit random...it has various mosses and fungi because we like to photograph those on long walks, and primroses because they're his favourite wild flower. It's a cherry vanilla cake inside (with more cherries than cake as he is addicted to them)

Given half the country get
a random generic caterpillar cake for their birthday, I don't think there's anything weird about a lovely personal toad cake.

That's an awesome cake. When someone goes to a lot of trouble to do something just right for you it's a lovely feeling

If the question is will you DH like the cake as his birthday cake and get the joke, we'll that depends on him, we don't know. Hopefully he'll appreciate the reference, I doubt you'd have made it if you didn't think he would.

He should certainly appreciate the skill it's amazing.

Oh wow that is absolutely amazing! I would honestly be so over the moon if someone made me that cake, especially a cake that's so different and full of meaning. Dont ever be ashamed of your cakes 🤣
