Morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cup of tea of the day, in silence, as usual. Bliss!

The house is clean, and reasonably tidy, so nothing major to be done this weekend. There is washing, and the floors need to be mopped though. School shirts need ironing too, but they can wait for tomorrow.

Me & the girls are going to have a walk to Asda for a few bits we need for tea, and probably a few random things too.

When we get back, I'll check whether they have homework & do my last bit of prep for Rainbows and Guides on Tuesday evening.

Hopefully I'll manage some more of my new crochet project too this afternoon. I expect the girls will disappear to either play Minecraft, or watch other people play it 🙄

Dd1's cooking - something chickeny with sweet chilli but she hasn't sent me the recipe yet so I'm not quite sure what 🤷‍♀️

I've been at work an hour on overtime ( don't usually work Saturday) and everyone else has decided it's break time already

So have a vending machine coffee and biscuit

Can't make my mind up about the rise flavored biscuit

DS is very happy today. It's his birthday and he has a dinosaur balloon and has just opened a present with some new little trucks in it and is currently watching is favourite film. Once he gets a chocolate birthday cake later it will be the best birthday ever!

Round trip driving dd back to uni (she came back last night) because she forgot her id which she needs for a gig with me tomorrow.... ffs

Just myself and the toddler up so far. Tea and toast on the couch and toys on the rug for toddler.

Wet and wild here all weekend apparently. House is 200 years old so bloody freezing a wee bit chilly

We had planned to do a (late) rspb garden birdwatch but don't know if many birds will be out in this weather. Might still get little ones set up by the window anyway!

Ds1 and I are off Into our nearest town this afternoon he needs walking boots we were meant to go the other week but didn't. We will get a Costa aswell and do a small food shop in the big asda there.

Got to fit in all the laundry aswell. my older ones had lots of sports this week so the laundry mountain is even bigger than usual!

Really looking forward to dinner. Children are making tortilla pizzas. DH and I are trying vegan kebabs I've heard this vegan kebab meat is amazing so hopefully it will be! I'm on slimming world and it's apparently a good choice. On wraps with spinach, red onion, cucumber and siracha.and wedges.

In bed with covid. Watching tv and sleeping. Pretty much where I’ve been for a week. Listening to Ds shrieking on his PS4. He has covid but luckily more perky than me.

Waiting for breakfast in bed, it's taking too long 🙄.
Need to tidy for the cleaner, wash school uniform & do food shopping. Very boring but the dc have play dates at least.

Still in bed. Meant to be going out for breakfast with DD and DH but I had my pneumonia jab on Thursday afternoon and my right arm has been absolute agony ever since, it's making me feel really sick . Would much rather stay in bed until lunchtime but apparently that's not an option. Oh well... hope everyone else has a lovely weekend

I bought some exterior Woodpaint in a nice sage colour so I might paint a bench ready for spring summer (weather awful but we have a garage so I its dried off and ready to paint)

Bought a nice shrub to plant too. I'm ready to say goodbye to winter
Dinner wise.. I've pork fillet and I might make our Sunday dinner today as won't have much time tomorrow. I would leave a dinner plated up for us tomorrow.
Have pork chops too incase there's not enough for both days

Good morning! Off to church this morning, that will keep me busy until about 3pm as I recently found myself involved in various departments that were running short of staff.

In the afternoon I'm watching a friend's talk series on Youtube on a book we both read last year. Need to put away yesterday's laundry and hoover my bedroom whilst I do that.

Off to dinner with a group of friends around 5.30pm, so hopefully I don't get back too late. Need to do 1-2 hours of work tonight as I was told on Thursday night one of my project leaders needs XYZ by Sunday afternoon, and it's a full day's worth of work... I'm starting tonight so I don't have to get up at 7am tomorrow...

I'm going day drinking with my work colleagues who are helping me get over a relationship break up. Last night had a takeaway with my long time friend for same reason.

Colleagues also bought me flowers.

We are a team of three all mid-late thirties

Feeling the love and feeling more twenties than 30's today hopefully I can handle my drink.

DD is at dads all weekend. I miss her but I need this too and that's ok

Morning. I had planned on doing a parkrun but slept through my alarm, so will go for a run later.
Plan for today is washing and taking Ds1 to tennis. I might take Ds2 into town for a wander and then we're having enchiladas with potato wedges for dinner.

DH has football this morning so he'll be out until around 12.30. DC are both gaming, so once I've had a shower I'm going to get on with some tidying. The wardrobe in the spare room needs sorting out and our room needs tidying.

Then we're going into town this afternoon as DS2 wants to spend what is left of his Christmas money. We also need to buy a new bed for DDog as he's eaten his last one. Dog walk then chilli for dinner and a bit of Harry Potter with DC, then watching a film this evening when DC are in bed. I might squeeze in an hour or two of work as well plus I've got a football course to get done online which will take an hour or so.

Hopefully will be a busy but productive day!

I was up at 6.30 for a zoom call with friends in Australia. Went back to bed at 8. It could get back to sleep so back up for tea and toast.

Need to shower and get dress and take dog out for a walk. Ocado order coming later. Neighbours coming in to watch rugby and for dinner later. They are bringing dinner.

I need to do a quick tidy round and maybe mop the floors.

Morning, still in bed as we left my DD having a sleepover at our friends last night after the grown ups had curry and a few drinks. Doing a boxercise workout shortly, then making soup to take on walk for what's likely to be a rather damp walk and picnic with a group of friends this afternoon. Doing some work on my new job application this evening hopefully in front of the fire.

I’ve been watching the live feed from Morocco about the little boys rescue from the well.

Need to go do weekly shop but want to see him rescued.

I'm still in bed because it's too cold to get out of it! Meeting a friend for coffee at lunchtime and going to watch a local theatre production this evening.

DD was up at 6 today for only about the 5th time in her life (very much an early bird) so we're both feeling unusually perky though I very much envy those of you who aren't already three hours post-breakfast. We're heading out to a city farm in a bit to meet a friend, say hi to the animals and have a cafe lunch. Then home for naptime and DP and I will probably look at the to-do list for our twice-delayed wedding. Then the library to get a new stash of board books. Lentil Bolognese for tea, or maybe a tomato bean bake if I can be bothered to reseason my skillet.

I want to do something but the weather is horrible here! Heavy rain all day and my DS has a slight cold! My DH is off to watch a football game at some point, probably a film / crafts day & then homemade Greek for tea tonight! Boring one really!

Waiting for DD2 to come down and make breakfast. I have mopped the floors downstairs and reorganised my clothes storage. Enough of that! Going for a walk this afternoon (5 - 6 miles). Quiet evening with new book club choice.

Tomorrow - DIY, some studying, pottering in the garden, more reading

Staying with my sis in London, and recovering from a night out and a show in the West End. My head!!

Morning all. A few bits to do this morning including some work as it’s so busy at the moment, but hoping to get everything finished by lunch to nip out for a bit of fresh air, then Six Nations rugby all afternoon! We’re very excited and have organised our fantasy rugby teams and family league. A quick pizza for dinner later on. Tomorrow is busy as we have a family birthday to go to.

Snap! Although I only tested positive last night, I feel bloody awful! DS was ill for about 15 minutes and has been bouncing off the walls all week..
