Having a party tonight... last minute tips please?

Can't sleep because I'm excited. 22 adults are coming, no children. DH and DCs won't be here. I have

Disco light
Playlist and speakers
Wine, vodka, gin, mixers
Making vodka jelly this morning
Snacks- crisps, pizza, cheeses etc
Lots of glasses

Any last minute ideas to make it fun?

Oh I'm so jealous OP, haven't been to a proper party in ages! Although I'm 7 months PG so not sure I'd be much fun😂 disposable cups, they can go straight in the bin. Keep bin bags handy and move anything that's easily broken

I think LFTs are a good idea. My third year student DD has covid just now and is so stressed because she has been too ill to do her dissertation.

We are all teachers/ school staff and do LFTs twice weekly anyway. Vast majority have had covid recently.

I've got a hankering for a pineapple and cheese hedgehog... must pop out and get some cocktail sticks. And napkins.

If anything needs heating (pizza, snacks etc) have it totally ready to go on trays so you just need to throw it in the oven. Make sure you have serving bowls/platters to hand.
If you are likely to end up with more glasses/washing up than will fit in the dish washer, have a box or crate just outside the backdoor to put it in. Really helps to stop the kitchen getting messy.
Sounds daft but make sure your kitchen bin is empty before you start and that there are plenty of loo rolls in the loo.

Whoever said bacon rolls - I don't think OP wants to be frying bacon whilst pissed and enjoying her party. Maybe that's just me though Grin

I know it’s not very eco friendly but for 23 people I would definitely be having disposable cups! Get yourself some of the big red party cups from Asda.
Plenty of carby snacks in bowls to soak up the alcohol.

Cocktail Sausages of course, you can't have a party without them. You can cook them before party, let cool, put in fridge and re heat in microwave later on.
