For me it was enchalidas. I'm having them today and they always remind me of the night before labour started.

Nothing because it was early in the morning and the. DH was really really pissing me off going on about eating something, honestly the last thing I wanted to do was eat!!

I did get pretty tired though!

CandyMan89 · 03/02/2022 19:25

I was already contracting and I had a chilli con carne. Grin

LovelyLupins · 03/02/2022 19:26

Toast. An entire loaf, with butter, as my contractions started in earnest Grin

Ham and coleslaw sandwich in hospital then literally went in to labour and pushed him out in 40 mins! Given that I 💩 myself too, am glad it wasn’t anything more offensive!!

FloatyBoaty · 03/02/2022 19:27

Pasta with chorizo.
I saw it again 10 hours later.
I have not eaten chorizo since.

alwayswrighty · 03/02/2022 19:27

KFC followed swiftly by puking it up an hour later when I was in active labour. Such a waste 🤣

firstimemamma · 03/02/2022 19:28

Lots of chocolate washed down with alcohol-free wine!

Tufty383 · 03/02/2022 19:28

A whole rotisserie chicken.

firstimemamma · 03/02/2022 19:28

Due baby number 2 next month so may try this again Grin

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 03/02/2022 19:30

I got a crazy urge to drink lucozade just before one of my labours. Never drank it before or since.

tigerlilymochalatte · 03/02/2022 19:32

Curry! Worst decision ever as it all came back up a few hours later (DD came early so hadnt planned on it being that night!)

PollysPockets · 03/02/2022 19:34

Corned beef and coleslaw roll that I randomly took with me into hospital after my waters broke (contractions hadn’t started yet)
I usually hate corned beef but it was a pregnancy craving, and I haven’t had it since.

85BottlesOfBeer · 03/02/2022 19:34

American style State Fair Potato Salad with added crispy bacon.

Next time a Ham and Mushroom pizza.

RosesAndHellebores · 03/02/2022 19:36

Labour one: haddock in parsley sauce, mash and spinach.

I have no idea re labour's two and three because I never saw them again. Neither did I ever have gas and air again.

Rachaelrachael · 03/02/2022 19:37

Pizza and coleslaw. Thought it would be a good idea to have a decent meal to get through the night. That backfired when I saw it all again an hour or so later. 2nd baby just had a salad before hospital Grin

Itstheprinciple · 03/02/2022 19:37

A curry and a pineapple.

She was overdue. We were trying to get things moving and it worked.

Northernsoullover · 03/02/2022 19:39

My first pregnancy they had me on nil by mouth due to be induced. I was absolutely starving by the end of it. When I went into labour on my second I was determined to eat all day and I did. It was 17 years ago and I can remember exactly what I ate. Toast for breakfast. Then I went into town (stupid really but I think I was in denial) I started in marks and spencer and had a toasted sandwich. Then I went to a tapas bar and had tortilla, croquetas, bread, garlic prawns. I then took myself off to my mums house and had chicken casserole. Needless to say I was very sick by 11pm when active labour started Angry

TheOrigRights · 03/02/2022 19:39

DS1 can't remember.
DS2 I was in early labour in Pizza Express.

tumtitum · 03/02/2022 19:42

Pancakes! I made them between contractions 😂

DeedIDo · 03/02/2022 19:45

Breakfast (probably cereal) followed by a three course Sunday roast including a G&T, a starter, roast gammon etc and a pud. Baby born at 18.12. All food still in place Smile

Policyschmolicy · 03/02/2022 19:46

Chilli squid, and ice cream. Not all together.

Latenightreader · 03/02/2022 19:46

Curry, on the hotter side of medium (I usually go for mild to medium). Unlike others I didn't see it again when I threw up at 4am when the first contraction hit, just the lemon and ginger tea I'd had an hour before! However I can't face bananas after eating one quite late in labour...

delilabell · 03/02/2022 19:49

McDonald's breakfast that dh bought into hospital for me and just like lots of others it came back up about 8 hours later.

jenn88 · 03/02/2022 19:51

Porridge! It was about 8am and I had been having contractions since 6.30am!
Then nothing until tea and toast, which was awful as my mouth was sooooo dry from the gas!!!

LuckyWithMyLot · 03/02/2022 19:55

Curry.
Worst decision of my life as I had awful vomiting in early labour. Still can't look at a curry the same way.
