If you wanted to treat yourself....

What would you buy?
I've recently received a small pay rise and would like to treat myself.
Something under £50 and just for me. Something that will last so I can use or look at and will make me smile.

I stumped though. Don't need perfume or candles, I don't really wear jewellery or make up.
Any ideas? Thanks

An Alexa for your bedroom to listen to podcasts before you go to sleep and wake you up to the radio?

actiongirl1978 · 01/02/2022 21:05

A globe. We bought one on a whim a couple of years ago and I love it. Totally love looking at random countries.

A nice vase. Table lamp or a handbag?

Howshouldibehave · 01/02/2022 21:12

I’d buy a necklace or perfume but that’s no good if you don’t wear either.

What about a bag/dress?

HacerSonarSusPasos · 01/02/2022 21:14

Luxurious silk robe or a warm fluffy one?

Books?

Fancy honey or gem? A fancy version of whatever food/drink you like

Wine tasting or cooking class?

Magazine subscription?

Flower delivery subscription?

Massage, facial or Diptyque something

Roominmyhouse · 01/02/2022 21:16

Yeah I agree a nice massage or something. I’m not really into stuff but I do love a pampering treatment!

Svara · 01/02/2022 21:17

I'd get good quality clothes that I'd wear all the time and will last.

Fatherliamdeliverance · 01/02/2022 21:18

A beautiful houseplant or pyjamas. Or! A heated throw?

My weighted blanket was £50

WorriedMillie · 01/02/2022 21:24

I’d buy one or a selection of (some lasting, some less so!)

Nice shower gel
Hotel chocolat alcoholic fruit covered in chocolate
Craft stuff
Bamboo socks
A bird feeder
A cookery book
Some of those retro travel posters, framed
National trust membership
A nice backpack

truthfullylying · 01/02/2022 21:27

I would get an ice cream maker if I did not have one. Or a nice framed print. Or a brilliant boardgame.

Leah2005 · 01/02/2022 21:28

I bought a beautiful hydrangea with £50 gardening vouchers bought for me. It brings me so much pleasure each year and just gets bigger and better. It's called pinky winky Smile

Svara · 01/02/2022 21:28

I love these handmade socks as well!
