Love central London. Pretty constant helicopter activity Downing Street way fir several hours . You think he has arranged an old style escape or ‘they’ are preventing one ? 😂

Live not love but do love it also.

there seems to be a lot of Tory heaters on here,

Grin Never a truer word, Unphased.

So much heat from you and your pals; so little light.

itsgettingweird · 27/01/2022 20:28

@Unphased

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea Oh come on, politicians over the decades have never kept to the rules, it’s nothing new, I think they usually all act for themselves or the parties rather than for us
And they do it because people like just shrug and let them.

Why don't you and other BJ supporters fighting his corner right now expect more for our leaders - perhaps if held to account history or poor leadership will correct itself in the future?

Whatwhywhenwhere · 27/01/2022 20:59

I feel I know how it’s going to turn out although I hope I am wrong.
Boris didn’t hold the surprise party and he wasn’t aware of it.
He didn’t initiate the work event he attended for 25 minutes.
Etc etc. While he showed a lack of moral fibre and disregard for the due process of law, and allowed illegal gatherings to happen on his watch, he was a bystander rather than leader. So £100 fines all round, find a civil servant to fall on his sword etc

Wrongkindofovercoat · 27/01/2022 20:59

The whole 'Parliament' needs to get on with dealing with real life problems is true, but because the Conservatives have such a huge majority they can essentially push through anything they like, even if every single opposition party MP votes against it ?

ElenaCouch · 27/01/2022 21:06

@Unphased seems so "unphased" by a lying, corrupt, morally bankrupt, totally inept reality show government that they are either one of those privileged business owner types with Eton connections - or so disenfranchised I don't know how they cope with day to day.

Or they are Carrie and just used to it

Today is Holocaust Memorial day, not appropriate to publish today.
MPs are not in Parliament tomorrow. Its needs to be published when MPs are present to hold the PM to account

Its in the fridge.
Bunce1 · 27/01/2022 21:45

@Ted27 I wondered if that had something to without too. It’s a good point.

Bit convenient too colour me cynical.

Whatwhywhenwhere · 27/01/2022 22:00

It’s so they can remove the names of people who grassed Boris up so they don’t end up swimming with the fishes.

Whatwhywhenwhere · 27/01/2022 22:00

That was a joke

Whatwhywhenwhere · 27/01/2022 22:01

According to the Guardian it’s to redact names

StarlingsAreAmazing · 27/01/2022 22:03

At least we now know that in fact, the Tory party COULD organise a piss up in a brewery.

Monday is the memorial service for Jack Dromney, so Tuesday at the earliest

ilovesooty · 27/01/2022 23:57

@Unphased I'll give you a response to your facile comment.

I have never in all my years of following politics known a liar like Johnson, nor any Prime Minister so weak, lazy, amoral or unprincipled. I didn't like Thatcher, but those are words one could never have applied to her.
